A difficult customer" is what staff told me I was yesterday

We recently purchased and had installed a wood burner from Embers. The service from Embers was very helpful and the installation happened on time. The recommended installer, Paul Goddard, did a great job. No hesitation in recommending Embers.

We bought all of our beautiful pendant lighting and door handles from EMBERS for a recent house renovation. They were flexible with our changes in the order and also couriering it to us. They were very knowledgeable about what was required for the light fittings and the different options with hanging length etc. Great service and they alway had time to talk about problem solving solutions.

Great, authentic shop full of restoration fittings, nice lighting options and an excellent range of wood heaters. Good old fashioned service, experience and advice too.

Was helped out here by Kate and her dad Rob - AMAZING service for our brand new fireplace and information on what would suit our house best. Even let us borrow his ute to drop our fire place at home! Old fashioned service and will be heading back to update our house fittings when the time comes! A+++

Great staff who went out of their way to assist me purchasing my wood heater. The heater looks great in our home and we are really happy with the service we received from EMBERS.

6 years ago we bought our fireplace at Embers, so now have the benefit of hindsight - a wonderful thing. Chose our unit with no particular advice offered by staff. Now we know there were many things that would have been helpful to have been told. Embers gave names re installation but with comment that they took no responsibility for the standard of their work ( in hindsight evident why).Short version... 5 yr warranty runs out just as four hundred dollars+ worth of replacement parts are needed due to corrosion but told this is 'reasonable' by Embers. Started this season 6 years in and the ceiling and back of the unit literally fell off. Now waiting for the internal cast part that had cleanly snapped in half??*!!! but over a week and counting to have this sent from Melbourne - obviously no urgency re customer service to get us warm again.us warm again

Incredibly helpful. Great range of products in store and available for order. Magic customer service and well priced.

I've sent them videos of the place, they accepted the quote and promised 2 to 3 weeks delivery. After 3 weeks somebody called me to schedule the job 5 weeks on. On the scheduled day the installers came completely unprepared: they did not see the videos and did not have the right equipment. They said they will come back to me, but never did. When contacting the shop again, I learned that the installers are independent and the shop has nothing to do with this. They're not even sorry. Very bad experience.

In the market to spend many thousands of dollars on heating and wetback solution preferably with a local provider. Called twice to enquire and get advice and was told someone would call me back both times. They never did bother both times. So we went elsewhere and gave the business to someone else. Costly price to pay for not bothering to return prospective customers calls. Don't deserve the business.
