Had an insane Bonza built by Vern Jackson. 1st wave 1st session it went incredible! It’s a customised style collectable board but one you should be riding all the time, and I do!The service was informative and friendly as I didn’t know all the theory behind a Bonza but had always wanted a unique Bonza. Additionally the finished product looked better than I expected for the low cost. The bonus is it rides like a magic carpet.I’ve since bought a Hammer Head model 9’1” high performance longboard that turns on a dime and allows me to mix it up and ride it in a traditional manner too.Vj surfboards deliver impeccable quality and high performing boards.They have my business from here on in.

This guy is incredibly painful to deal with. Have had more reasonable conversations with 2 year olds throwing a tantrum. Completely devoid of any customer service skills. Engage at your own risk. You have been warned...

I got a custom V8 7 4 board from Vern recently. Vern was very helpful in taking the time to work out the right dimensions and shape for my skill level.The board itself rides really well and is exactly what I was looking for. They’re very good quality and made to last and the customisation is an extra added bonus!Just recently bought a second board for my Dad and had the same experience, 10/10 would absolutely recommend vj to anyone,Thanks Vern!

vern makes beautiful, quality surfboards - he takes great pride in his work.forget all the cheap popouts, pay just a bit more for a locally, superior made board.we need to value these local shaperscheers

I found Vern great to communicate with, I am very pedantic and painful to deal with and Vern was very patient and produced for me a very special board. When I took it to Ocean and Earth to get a board cover Whale didn't want to give it back and said it was the best board he's seen in years. I agree. Don't listen to the whingers, some people can't be pleased.10 out 10 for me .

Vern made me a brilliant board - perfectly adapted to my style, size and skill. It’s been great in a range of different conditions this summer. Nice spray too… thanks!
