Huge waiting for ordering nearly half hr and another 45 mins to pick - total waste of time. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all if you are in a rush.taste is also not that great.

Am from Adelaide and visited Melbourne in the month of Jan, the shiva Vishnu temple is must visit place for everyone who visit Melbourne and this restaurant is inside the temple where you will get best South Indian food with very reasonable price.

This lovely cafe within the precinct of the HSV Temple Carum Downs is run by volunteers, has one of the most reasonably priced menus and has star snacks like Ulunthu Vadai, Veg Rolls and Veg Samosa. The dosas are huge. The food here is a bit bland, but it is more like Prasadam than restaurant food. It is rightly very popular with the locals.

Been visiting here for the last 10 years. Restaurant is located inside Shiva Vishnu Hindu temple premises.Serves only veg food. Quantity and pricing are unmatchable. Gets busy during weekends. Run by volunteers. Abundant parking available.

Good satvik food and atmosphere. Food is inexpensive and tasty. Mostly South Indian cuisine. Crowded on some weekends and special days. I usually avoid queuing up if there is a long queue. Volunteering staff are respectful and helpful.

Best place in Melbourne to have a authentic South Indian breakfast. Very clean and well organised. Food is outstanding. Not expensive at all. Only drawback is that it is bit far from the city. The toilet facilities are very good. It's right next to the popular Hindu temple. A must visit place for people who have cravings for South Indian breakfast.

I can understand rising prices due to inflation but some prices have tripled for some items! I've been at your café for the past 10 years+, your Kesari cake shrunk to a third of its original size. People order food take away and you omit to put all items in the bag and overall quality of the food has gone down. You need to revise your service to the community and go back to understanding the value of your offering and managing customer expectations. Worse of all to have a woman behind the counter yelling at customers not to stand close to the counter and to go away (maybe if I yelled back at her, you would put my photo up saying that I am banned from the café or temple, right?). You have a serious customer service problem. I will not be coming back to your café anytime soon until you improve your services. No more donation from me for sure!
