The pies here are awful and overpriced. We tried the potato pie and it was dry, over cooked, pastry was burnt, meat filling was flavourless and lacking with the pie being 80% dry tasteless potato. We forced ourselves to finish it due to the exorbitant price, $7.50 each. Sausage roll was passable but a little oily and stale. And you pay a premium for tomato sauce even when the pies cost a fortune. Better off trying Dunwich or Amity for your bakery goods.

Straight out Un - Australian charging 50c for a sauce. You don’t get a complementary one even if the price of 80c more than Amity point for the same thing pie. I use to love going here but sadly it’s going down hill quality and price wise.

Coffee and food is average, it is ok. But what is not okay, is, that i got my food 10 min earlier than my coffee, because the two employes prefered to chat with each other, rather than working. There were no other customers at all....

A reliable bakery to get your essentials when staying non the island if you don’t want to go all the way back to Dunwich. Slightly expensive, but hey, it’s the only bakery at this end of the island so that’s ok ! The bread rolls were dense and heavy but the Eason scroll / pasty my daughter had was awesome- she loved it.

The fresh bread tasted like it was a day old. The Pepper Pie was below average.

Best pie and coffee I've had in a very long time. Got the pepper steak and an oat milk cappuccino. They actually use a really yummy oat milk (unlike literally every other Cafe I've tried so far) and the pie was beautiful - made from real beef mince and it didn't have any bits of chewy fat! Amazing. Finished eating and I want more. It was super busy when we went but still didn't take too long. Would definitely recommend. Croissants are good as well.

We stayed on Stradbroke for 1 week, on our first morning we bought a loaf of sourdough and a coffee and my goodness we couldn’t stop. Every morning we were up early to go and grab another before it was sold out. The sourdough is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had and we eat a lot of sourdough! The coffee is also wonderful, I’ve never had a good coffee from a bakery so this was a pleasant surprise.

Very sad excuse for a bakery. This business could be thriving in such a stunning location.

Me and my partner are both Vegan, the staff apologised for having no options available, but took the cheese out of the Mediterranean Turkish Bread and replaced it with Avocado and Pesto. It was delicious and we were really happy with the service and alternative that we were offered.
