Swansea Lakeside Holiday Park

Awesome place to take the kids for a holiday. So much cheaper than other holiday parks in the area but need to book well in advance. Great pool and splash park and easy access to surrounding waterfront. Only one food van so a bit of a wait for some hot chips, but other takeaway options close by if you leave the park.

What a great town, stayed in the caravan park which has direct access to the sea, great place for me to go for long paddles in the old kayak. Fantastic park will be going again.

The only way to have a good shower is to basically rent out a cabin. Now me and my family we go camping every year for Christmas and this year in 2022 we went here. It's good overall but because we mostly wanted to kayak, go to the beach and go to the pool we obviously needed good showers to clean our hair and rinse our bodies off. The showers that aren't apart of a cabin and are public only have hot water for 6 minutes and to get said hot water the hot tap needs to be on but that doesn't even produce a good amount of hot water to properly shower in and adding cold water to try and get more spread of water makes the cold take over. Realisticly if you do want to come here, get an onsuite site or a cabin.

Lovely park. Great location. Clean amenities bit of a stupid system with the hot water, and some showers don't get hot water at all. But once we worked out which ones work and to just use 3 stalls a shower it was ok.The security is a bit over the top. Far too many different codes. The last thing you meed is to type in the pool gate code when your busting to pee. Why not the one code just changed regularly?Slides and pool are great new additions to the park. We could not get the kids out of the Slides, it was even good for the bigger kids too.I would be back as it's a lovely place to stay. Just a bit expensive but the lake is worth it.

Great trip away, park backs right on to lake Macquarie with a perfect shallow swimming area for kids and families.The only thing that is quite annoying is the fact that you get given five different codes to get you in and out of the park into the amenities into the pool and the water slide park and out to the beach. Trying to remember them. All is a pain in the butt.

Very clean and well maintain and friendly :) my only concern was the tent camping was on the road and it was very noisy with the cars as the boat ramp is next door. I’ll probably come back and book a cabin also the pool and games are amazing!

Stayed 3 weeks, no hot water when go to have a shower, wifi dreadful. Turned off most the time. Very very over crowded in and out of park on holidays.

Stayed on unbowed sites was fantastic the park is great the surrounding areas are beautiful the water was awsome weather was perfect.

Swansea is a wonderful park. The management are great and have done a terrific job with the entire park, which shows with the clean and stylish amenities, maintained sites, pools, playgrounds and surrounding grounds. Will definitely be back!!
