I had my hair coloured by Amy at Unruly Hair and let me tell you - the experience was definitely something I will never forget (but for all the wrong reasons!).I went and saw Amy after being recommended the salon by someone I knew. There was definitely some kind of miscommunication (however, I have no idea how) as I left the salon with blackest black roots and cobalt blue ends - I have never been so disappointed or mortified with my hair in my life and I had been visiting professional salons for years. My previous hairdresser went into hair education and let me tell you - I think she should visit this salon!The photo of my hair with orange ends is after it had not been touched for 6+ months as I was growing it out. I was so excited to have my hair done. I had just started a new job and advised Amy that I DO like colours that are bright and out there like the previous bright orange I had, but I needed to tone it down due to my workplace. We did discuss how much I like blue, but I opted for dark grey roots and slightly lighter grey ends. Amy even showed me the grey shades in the colour book before starting the process! I knew that as we were starting with orange ends, the finished product would never be exactly what I wanted and that it would take time. But right towards the end of the colouring, Amy saturated my hair in blue hair dye! I have no idea why - I feel that she had completely botched my hair and was trying to hide it as the other photos are of my hair after ONE wash! Would you be happy with that colour after paying over $350 not even including the products? You tell me! Amy did offer to fix my hair and I will say that I never got back to her because is it logical that I let someone fix" my hair after leaving with something this atrocious? My boyfriend knows nothing about hair and even he could see red still all throughout my hair. It is legitimately all the colours of the rainbow and I have been too embarrassed to wear my hair down since this experience. Not to mention

I'm not a hairdresser type person but Amy is amazing. She knows what shes doing, makes you feel welcome and is absolutely great at what she does.There is also a hidden nail salon that is amazing at this place . Mary has been doing nails for years and her talent really shows in the finished product.Highly recommend both businesses!
