Had a meal. It was awesome.Atmosphere was really good.Band from Toowoomba playing.Cannot explain why people complain about outback pubs.

We had a great coffee experience on Thursday morning and Jane was so friendly we said we will be back Saturday night for drinks and dinner. She mentioned there was a wedding on that night but come early and would be no problems ordering a meal. So we arrived at 6pm had drinks in the bar then moved to the dinning area and ordered a Maxi burger x 2 @ 6.34pm. We continued waiting with more drinks noticing that everyone around us were getting their meals so my husband spoke to a staff member who said they were busy, then she spoke to Jane(manager) who was very nasty and gave our $50 back in a very aggressive manner. We were both shocked and i said why are you so nasty? We would wait a bit longer but had no choice but to leave. Boulia is a lovely small town, we spent money not only at the Pub but at the Min Min Encounter, Supermarker, coffee shop, filled up with fuel. We appreciate the drinking water stations in the main street. Well done Boulia, Jane, take a break!! and appreciate us travellers spending money in your town. Shirley & Terry Power

Thursday night crumbed stake night. Worth it!! They have a special for most nights not to mention their rib stakes. Go rear is a must. Wash this down with a couple of beers at the bar ya can't go wrong

Considering this is a very isolated place to visit, the menu has plenty of variety, the salad tasted really fresh and the prices were pretty reasonable, again, considering this is a very isolated place to be ordering a meal from a full size menu, with table service

Great friendly service even under the pump of some of their heaviest patronage of the year. Waits for dinner will be long when it's busy, but just settle in with a few drinks and no problem.Tasty meals, cold drinks and a smile. Not much better!

Limited choice for lunch. BBQ pork pizza was really good. Came back for tea as we were staying in town. Ordered at 6:10, was told it would be ready about 6:30-6:45. We got our order at 7:15. It was not busy when we ordered but then got busy. I think they forgot about us. The fritters were really good and hot but the chips were warmish.

Staff were mostly friendly and helpful. Beer cold but limited choice - similarly for wine - Boulia is a long way from the 'big smoke ' Our meal was good, but took a very long time to arrive. Clean, pleasant atmosphere.

Lady serving was as thick as a brick wall. Stuffed all the orders up so had to wait even longer. $35 peice of chicken was not cooked fresh and was honestly disgusting. Will never be back
