Ravensbourne Recreation Reserve
An easily accessible park with toilets and shaded picnic tables.A little bit of history of the area added to a great stop for lunch.There is a small view from this park and a nearby lookout with an incredible view.

Ravensbourne Recreation Reserve
As far as rest areas go, this is a very impressive and scenic stop. Seems to have had recent upgrades (as of Nov 21) including new paths, covered tables, toilet block, and LED lighting. Even stop by for some tennis at probably the most picturesque tennis court you will ever find! The vista is truly breathtaking, and the amenities are well kept. Be sure to catch up on the rail history of Shay Loco SN906.

I recommend for a drive or take a picnic this be the ideal place to go to magnificent views up on the mountain good amenities for convenience so they’re shop across the road that’s handy Best time to go I recommend the summer don’t do it on a cold day it’s very windy when I was up there if it came enough but make sure you take a jacket it’s great for the family and expect to get too excited about it but the main thing is you get out the house

Always a lovely camp-siteBir noisy on the road but quietens over nightLots of work going on for new toilet block which will be greatAlso great little stall down the road on Sat mornings, breaky burgers and cakes ,bread and relishes Kate's, I think
