Healesville Gables

We have just held a wedding reception at Healesville Gables for my son and his beautiful wife. We could not have chosen a better venue for the occasion. The staff were genuinely warm and friendly, and showed an open interest in the occasion. I don't know how we could have managed without Robyn who had a talent of making things that seemed complex, happen in a in a very calm and simple way. It took the stress out of the whole occasion. The food was plentiful and cooked to perfection. It is a testament to the venue that some of our guests were so impressed that after sampling the hospitality, they made inquiries about booking it for their own upcoming wedding. Thanks to Robyn and staff for making a great night even better.

I had my wedding here and it was just perfect. From the moment I found it on the internet I just knew it was right.It was fantastic having the event expertise of Robyn to help put the day together so it all run smoothly. I loved that we were able to dress the tables how we wanted to add our personal touches to the venue.I would recommend this country, rustic but it's us" venue to anyone looking for a beautiful simple wedding in the stunning Yarra Valley. Its' Sat.night and I have left the Gables having the worst experience of my life. The staff were grumpy, rude and hardly civil.We had trouble getting the food started and there was no atmosphere and the bar staff could not explain the situation/relationship for the tab. It was a wedding and the bride and groom are heading out for pizza.As for professionalism they would not know how to spell it because they did not know how to do it.Save yourself the trouble I will be emailing the mayor about some understanding how they pretend to be in the food and entertaiment industry when all they provided was huffing and puffing and its all too much trouble.I hope I have saved some other poor person from booking inLorraine Norman A Very HUngry Dissatisfied Guest.

I held my weeding reception at Healesville Gables and I must say I had one of the most wonderful nights of my life. The owner Robin took great care to make the room beautiful and made us feel welcome. The staff were very friendly and looked after the needs of all my guests. The gardens were alive and vibrant with flowers, the perfect place for the memories for all my wedding photos. The food was fantastic, delicious. I had a large selection to choose from and it catered to all my guests dietary needs. Robin also helped me get in contact with a D.J, who played all my favourite music for the night. I have been to lots of wedding in the past and I am glad that I chose Healesville Gables to cater for mine. I came home with lovely memories of a very special night. Healesville Gables will always be a special place in my heart and life. Thank you to Robin and her staff.Anyone looking for a great place to have a wedding and/or reception, I strongly recommend Healesville Gables. A place that will make your dreams come true.

We had our wedding here in April 2016 and from the start Robyn and her staff were amazing. The venue is gorgeous and has a lovely relaxed country feel, food was delicious, atmosphere was brilliant and the 'honeymoon suite' was comfy and cosy! No request was too big for Robyn and she made our day the most amazing experience ever. Thank you so much to you and your staff, I can't recommend Healesville Gables enough!

I am just home from a stay at the Gables. After many attempts to organise a group due to Covid a booking for 17 people. My dealings with Ralph were so easy and he was so accomodating with every turn. We used all the motel rooms and the cottage where we self catered for our evening meals which was so easy and as a number of our group have some mobility problems. So it was a win win situation. Thanks again Ralph and look forward to another visit in the future. Accomodation was superb

Have had many functions at this venue, including a 21st, a 30th and have attended 2 weddings as a guest. I would not hesitate to iether book this venue again myself or attend as a guest or to recommend Healesville Gables to others. Robyn and the staff were professional, well mannered, polite and nothing was a problem.The venue itself is set amongst picturesque settings and is always beautifully presented both inside and out. The food was plentiful and delicious. Thank you to Robyn and the staff for their tremendous help.

I have attended many functions at The Healesville Gables and every time the venue has produced the goods. Awesome service, delicious food and nothing ever seems to be too much trouble for Robyn and her professional staff. The ladies behind the bar are warm and welcoming, showing genuine interest in your night and are always making sure you're having a wonderful time. I would recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding or any other celebratory event. I certainly won't be hesitating to hold an event here when the time comes

The gables is now a home that my friends have renovated and we visit often and love the property
