The staff yell at you for doing absolutely nothing? They get you into trouble for no reason.

My son has recently started foundation at St Andrews. My experience thus far has been exceptional. From the moment we walked through the gates to enquire about the school we were greeted by friendly staff who were happy to answer any of our queries. The transitional program from kinder to foundation was great and is more then most other schools offer. This allowed my child to feel at ease on his first day. Parents are informed of upcoming events via the school app. Most importantly the curriculum being taught seems to be enriching and diverse. There really is a community feeling with both staff and parents working collabratively to better our childrens learning experiences.

As a parent here at St Andrew’s, I can attest to the strong school community and genuine commitment from the school to build positive partnerships with their parents, children, parish and wider local community. The school has a newly appointed and respected principal and leadership teaching team who are progressive and dynamic. The school invests heavily in their teacher’s ongoing professional development to enhance their pedagogical practices. The teachers are caring, responsive and approachable. Parents can expect plenty of opportunities to receive and give feedback on their child’s learning. Personalised learning plans and additional support are available to children of all learning abilities. There is a strong focus on building solid literacy and numeracy skills early. A positive growth mindset is instilled in students throughout their learning, and development of 21st century skills is embedded across curriculum and teaching practices. All senior students have multiple opportunities to develop their leadership capability through student led activities, buddy program, inquiry based projects, sports, etc. There is an excellent before and after school care program, and other activities such as Chinese lessons, soccer, music and more. Further, there is an active and friendly parent and friends group supporting fundraising and social activities.

Best School on Earth. Best Education. Kind teachers. Thanks to them I was weak in writing and now I am over level. Currently I am in Year 4 and class 3/4P.

My primary and secondary school had many horrible staff members and students, and I was treated so badly by many of them. This school cares more about its ‘appearance’ than anything else. It has to be seen as a good school. Not surprisingly in primary school, teachers can treat a student badly, and a student can’t defend themself. As this school charges a lot of money, they can frequently renovate, making it look good.I was seen as moody and as a sook. Instead of being supportive, many showed their frustration.

I went to St. Andrews as a kid, now my children go there. The school has changed and grown over the years, but the care and attention to the kids is what I value most. As a parent I have the opportunity to get involved with the school and help set it's direction. When I've needed help from staff, they have been friendly and supportive.

An amazing school all round! St.Andrew's is such a welcoming environment for students, their family, staff and visitors. The community embrace diversity, equality and inclusion for all. The facilities are excellent and the grounds are well maintained and spacious. There is such a sense of calm when you walk through the school. The principal Mr. Wakeling and vice principal Mrs. Johnston positively inspire and lead the teaching team to support students to achieve their full potential and stretch out of their comfort zones in a nurturing way. The teaching team have a genuine interest in student learning as well as the physical, emotional and social well being of each student. Thank you for making school such a fun experience for our children.

Our first child started Foundation at St.Andrews Catholic Primary school this year. Selecting the right school and community where our son feels welcome and safe was the most important thing for us. The principal and the staff are friendly and approachable. My son visited the school during the kinder excursion and he chose the school saying that he felt the children and teachers were friendly. So far we have been so happy with the communication, the effort the staff are constantly putting into keeping up with technology and upgrading the facilities for providing the best experience for children. Most importantly, it’s a great community where you feel a part of.

My children have attended 3 different primary schools as we’ve moved quite a bit, this school is the best by far! The school community is friendly and welcoming. The Principal Paul and ALL the other staff are just amazing and really take pride in their students and their families! My children are in good hands as are all other children who attend St Andrews Primary School. I highly recommend this school to anyone considering sending their child here! Amazing support, outstanding care for the growth, development and well-being of the children, quality and tailored education, overall this school goes above and beyond for the kids and for their families!
