NRMA Merimbula Beach Holiday Resort

Visited here for a 2 day break whilst visiting family in Australia. Ideal site for families as well fitted out with pool etc.Chalet we had was clean and tidy though carpet in one bedroom was torn creating a tripping hazard. Reported to management.Ideal for visits in the area.

We booked 6 nights in a Beachcomber Villa. We landed in villa 1 which was the furthest back so the views were no way near what they’d be in villa 3 or 4. If you specifically want that view from the photos, request those ones. The villa was well proportioned for our little family of 4. The kids bedroom gets very warm and the fan is not great but the rest of the villa was well ventilated and breezy thanks to the elevation of the villa itself. The deck was lovely to sit and have meals. We didn’t eat indoors at all. There was a card that said our villa was cleaned by 3 people….it wasn’t the best with dirty bin lid, messy cupboards and some kind of caked stain in the kids bedsheet but we put that down to busy Jan season. Having shaded parking under the villa was a huge plus however a downside is the noisy road out back. The early risers of 5am onwards in cars is loud in the bedrooms. Our kids get up early so not much of an impact but if you like a lie in it could be an issue. The park had great facilities, the kids club, splash park and tennis court are great. I love the additions of a pizza night, fairy floss and doughnut vans visiting.The pool is advertised as heated. Apparently it used to be but 2yrs ago the heating broke and it’s very expensive to fix! We were lucky and visited in good weather but I’d be disappointed if I thought I was getting a heated pool in sub par weather and ended up with that. Also, the advertised on-site cafe isn’t open and hasn’t been for some time. Not an issue for us and you can walk down the hill and grab a coffee from the van there most of the day. It’s good coffee too.We’d stay again but I’d look at one of the clifftop cabins with guaranteed good views and no noisy road.

What a wonderful park. We had a WSVilla and even though the park was full it was very quiet. 100 m walk directly to beach. Amazing views. While we don’t have little kids the activities in the park are perfect for a young family holiday too. We will be back.

This was a pure circus. We arrived Sunday afternoon of a long weekend and people were packed in almost on top of each other, and children were running amuck. The garbage bins were a health hazard by Monday morning, with raw garbage spilling all over the street due to overcrowding. There should be a limit of people per square centimetre.The location is amazing, but I hope we never find ourselves in such ghetto conditions again!

What a great park in a beautiful part of the coast.We returned yesterday from a 5 night start, from check in to leaving we couldn’t have been happier. It was Easter Monday and the park was quite full. We stayed on TC5PS (against the tennis court) we loved the location next to the playground where we could sit and watch our granddaughter play. Close to the amenities block (always kept clean)The laundry had adequate machines.The waterpark with heater to 27° There were plenty of seats to sit around and watch the children playing. The organised activities were a good hit, especially on the day it rained. The fairy floss machine was also good, I liked the idea of paint and sip so we couldn’t book in this time of anyone to watch our granddaughter (maybe next time)We also liked the pizza guy arriving on Friday night with his wood fired oven.The addition of the woodfired oven in there outdoor covered area is also great. Great access to the beach, coffee van onsite from 6.30am in the carpark overlooking the beach. Great coffee!We wished the larger pool was heated because it was freezing, it would be fun in summer. Large with recliner sun lounges. The toddler pool was a little dirty on the tiles, looked like oil created from sunscreen.Go Carts looked like fun, we didn’t use them at this park.Lots to do for families with children.Would definitely recommend and we have booked to return already.* one thing I would add, and it’s the only negative. The step down from the toilets/laundry neat the pool could have a hazard reflective strip or ‘watch the step’ sign. It’s a bit of a fall hazard.The internet wasn’t working for us either but we had our own wifi so that didn’t bother us.

Perfect place to enjoy a family vacation with things to keep every one involved and entertained. Water slides, pool, arcade, pedal go carts, walk to beach and splendid views

Check your site as ours wasn't big enough so needed to change.Their price went up in half an hour of checking out website even though it's practically empty.We won't return here as you need to drive everywhere as its not in the main part of town. There's no WiFi despite website stating there is. For a BIG 4 it wasn't the standard we're used to.

We've been here a few times before and the location and the cabin is amazing. Unfortunately on our most recent stay there was no internet and we were told it would be up and running within a day. It hasn't worked our entire stay and while reception told me it's working again it's very clear that it's not and making us walk to reception from the Beach House to connect isn't a viable solution.Also while the TV's in the bedrooms work fine, the remote for the tv in the loungeroom doesn't work properly. For the amount we paid to stay here, it's not really a great experience and I'm a bit disappointed.Edit -. the park network has now appeared and I can connect. All is good in the world :)
