Sam is such a lovely and kind soul, I felt really safe & assured entrusting my hair and makeup into her talented hands on the day of the shoot. She was gentle & efficient and knew what I wanted, and was able to refine the look at the end to create a perfect outcome that I was rly pleased with. We had great chats and I would totally love to get coffee together one day! I also got to play with her gorgeous ginger-coloured cat!

Sam is such a talented, beautiful and lovely person! I was a little nervous heading into my first bridal trial in true introvert fashion, but Sam immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable, and we had the best morning. I'd recommend Sam to anyone wanting their make up and hair done for any event but particularly for a wedding. Sam slotted in seamlessly to the morning of my wedding, chatting away to myself, my mum and my three bridesmaids and she knew the look I wanted without me having to explain too much. I trusted her completely to make us all look and feel amazing and everyone was really happy with the final results. She was good at distracting me with small talk too when the nerves set in! Sam is a beautiful person inside and out and we had a wonderful experience

Samantha Ruby is INCREDIBLE at what she does. She did both my hair and makeup on my wedding day and both were absolutely perfect and lasted all night long. She has the sweetest, most genuine attitude that made everyone feel so calm and relaxed the morning of our wedding. She was such a pleasure to work with in the whole lead up and I will never stop recommending her enough. I will never forget when my husband stopped and told me that this was the best my makeup had ever looked and he was absolutely right!

Best makeup I’ve had! Best is such an overused word, but Samantha Ruby’s makeup and hair was just that. Exactly the look I asked for, but better – glam, flawless skin (she somehow even managed to soften the appearance of lines!) and lasted all night. And her beautiful studio is an added bonus to what was an all-round lovely experience.

Sam did me and my bridesmaids makeup and hair. She is absolutely amazing at her job, everything looked so perfect and was the exact look I was going for. Could not recommend her enough. She’s professional but also fun and it feels like she is just a part of your bridal party getting ready. Will definitely be recommending her to friends and family.
