Came here in a group of six in the morning on the 12th of May. Ordered the breakfast plate with poached eggs, chorizo, bacon and haloumi. Food was very overcooked and dry. Ordered a large taro latte and was given a regular. Poached eggs were hardboiled - as was the rest of the group's. Toast was rock hard. Onion rings almost burnt to a crisp. Disappointing as I used to come here regularly and I remember everything used to be perfect. The menu itself and the ingredients are great, but are let down by the kitchen staff.

I really like the food here. Freshly made, well seasoned and it has a homey taste :). The coffee is quite good, at least the espresso based ones that I tried. Service is friendly and accommodating. If anything they are too nice. Sometimes it seems that they do not want to interrupt a conversation between customers even when they are coming with the food. Interrupt away guys ;)!The ambience is relaxed and not noisy despite being close to King street. Why 4 stars and not 5 yet? Because not all the items on the menu were available the two times I was there. I'll keep coming back nevertheless :).

I just visited this cafe a month ago. I really love the vibes and food. It was really yummy. The staffs were also very cooperative. Definitely going back for delicious brunch.

A friend first brought me to Double Barrel in 2019, and since then I’ve been hooked! I’m a regular because the food is delicious and beautifully presented, the coffee is just lovely, the atmosphere is very chill, and the staff are so friendly.Always attentive, they really strive to provide the best experience. The owner, Jason, is wonderful to chat with and so hard-working. I see no reason not to return week after week and often bring my friends!Eggs benny is my favourite dish and the coffee really is superb. Try Raspberry Candy sometime!

The review is solely for the food because it was amazing. Will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. So well presented and tasted really good. Reasonably priced. Friendly server. The toilet could definitely do with a renovation though

A lovely, clean, tranquil coffeehouse with a chic vibe, friendly staff and a really decent coffee. The Florentine cake was also fabulous even if I felt guilty afterwards.

We were happy with this cafe and its service, friendly and very warm. The food was presented well and very pretty. We ordered Acai Bowl and Avo Breakfast and those food were delicious and refreshing. They also serve the best coffee in the town. I surely will come back again.

Rewarded myself an iced latte on a hot summers day. Definitely worth it, not one of those drinks overloaded with dairy and sugar, right amount of milk. ONA beans is a big bonus. I'll definitely return.
