What a great experience we had! Very good service, easy checkin, clean facilities and a very nice camp kitchen designed with love. The campground is located in the middle of the forest - no phone access here! It's a good opportunity to enjoy some remote calmness that comes from the forest. Would definitely come back any time. Thank you for the great stay!

The owners gave us a free room upgrade, which was really kind of them. They were really helpful with suggestions on places to see. We had dinner there both nights and the food was delicious. There is no wifi but you're in a rainforest, who needs it! A lovely place to take a break from the outside world.

Unfortunately the website for this property is that of before new owners so advertises what there used to be which was animals, birds and reptiles. This is no longer the case. The property appears a bit run-down. The new owners are friendly, toilet facilities old but clean, food at restaurant is ok but appears mainly microwave heated, chips were good. Camping facilities also ok but needs a bit of a clean up. Overall well priced and hopefully appearance will improve within time and a new website setup stating actual info above accommodation. Still if looking for budget accommodation place to go.

This place was paradise. We found it to be a rare opportunity to enjoy a very real and unadulterated version of staying in the Daintree. The place is rustic and unpretentious, but I have to admit that we were also grateful for the delicious meals. They even had the rare appearance of a wild cassowary, which was topped off by seeing a cool python. The place is beautiful. The owner/operators are a really friendly family. We loved our stay and can't recommend it highly enough.

A beautiful part of the world in our own backyard. Overall a great location to visit all of the scenery north of the river. Large cabins and selection of food from the restaurant. The barramundi was very popular amongst the visitors and guests.

This campsite is amazing! You are sleeping completely within the rainforest and is so magical. The staff were all so nice. They also have live music on Saturdays and we sat by the fire-pit in the evening with a drink. Great kitchen, clean toilets. Not much else you can ask for.Great campsite 100% recommend.

Lovely campsite in the rainforest! Tamara was an absolute sweetheart and made us feel very welcome. We stayed for two nights as it was quiet and relaxing. Some bugs but you’ll get that everywhere. Facilities were decent, nothing special but at $30 for an unpowered site it’s the cheapest in the area. Had dinner at the restaurant one night, my schnitzel was delicious, however, my girlfriends fritters could have been a lot better. Overall very happy and would stay again.

A lovely place to stay full of rustic charm. A little showing of age but very clean and comfortable. The owners a genuinely lovely, easy going people and made us feel very welcome. Bruno was flexible in changing out booking from camping site to cabin and went above and beyond to help us continue our holiday after a slight caravan issue. Dinner was great, best chips we have eaten in a long time. Will definitely be back!
