Blue Mountains Stargazing

Such an amazing experience! My partner and I decided to book last minute as we were heading to the Blue Mountains for a weekend getaway. Dimitri was very knowledgeable - sharing the history behind constellations and providing insights on navigation. Although quite cold, the sky was very clear, which made the stars stand out incredibly. The added bonus of hot choccy was a lovely treat. I would recommend this to anyone who is travelling to the Blue Mountains and wants to know more about our beautiful night sky.

A fantastic night. It was freezing cold but staff were very considerate (providing how drinks and warm blankets).A fascinating experience. Looking through the telescope was a highlight.

This was such an amazing experience! The team was really nice, knowledgeable and super friendly. They knew absolutely everything we asked and all the explanations were so interesting.They also served a delicious hot chocolate and tea to fight the cold which they also had blankets for.Beautiful experience, highly recommend!!

The star gazing experience in the Blue Mountains was really captivating. The clear sky allowed for a mesmerizing view of the Milky Way. The knowledgeable astronomers provided a clear understanding of cosmos. Hot drinks added to the enjoyable winter atmosphere. The welcoming staff created a pleasant environment for all.Highly recommended it for family and friends

What the Blue Mountains Stargazing offers is a 90 minute stargazing session with a ‘star person’ - an astrophysicist or astronomer. We had thought this would be a good idea to do with kids, and went this weekend. June is a good month to go with clear winter skies. But the wind was extra gusty when we went. That and 2-4C temperatures made it a lot colder than we’re used to. Still thankful to have had this unique local experience. Learnt new things looking at stars with and without their powerful telescope.Edited Jan 2023: My parents were visiting from overseas, and we did this again over the summer. Totally different content. My kids enjoyed more than the winter tour, as it was warmer (still bring a jacket).

Such an amazing experience! Tom is incredibly knowledgeable and fun at the same time. Not even the cold weather got in the way of this beautiful night, thanks Tom and Mathilde.
