Place located on seashore.. need to walk some steps from car park.. a long walk from therefrom.. climbing up red rocks is yet another interesting thing.. dunes to walk.. shower is nearby carpark. Waves have big currents.. usually less crowded beach. We saw many people playing volleyball..

The reddest rocks I've ever seen in my life! The cave with a natural skylight is pretty cool as well. All this set on a pristine beach. Remember to go during low tide to access the caves and then head onto town for a good feed thereafter. Great day trip from Melbourne.

This was a great find on out recent family holiday. Have to go at low tide or you don't get to experience it properly. Lots of little caves and pools to explore and the kids got to have a little splash and treasure hunt.Be sure to pack some water, as it is a little hike over the sand dune and along the beach from the carpark.

The Forrest Caves ended up being the highlight of our trip to Phillip Island. The beach is stunning and it was fun exploring the caves. Be careful with sharp edged rocks (wouldn’t recommend exploring barefooted), and watch the tides, as they rise faster than you expect.

Was lovely, we went at midday so the water was in, so you couldn't walk through, but it was acting more like a blowhole

Beautiful spot to adventure and a short walk along the beach from the carpark. Was recommended to go during low tide otherwise the rock features weren’t really accessible.

Hidden gem - one can spend hours. This is where the rocks meet the sea and the mightiness of water and yes water can break even the mightiest of the rocks! It’s a sight to behold. Be ready to walk up the wooden stairs around 70 number and then down the stairs and walk on sand before you can reach the caves - can be done only during low tides

Worth a look at low tide. There is a 1500m walk with stairs. Just a beautiful spot on the beach with some natural caves plant life and marine life.
