I found that customer service was terrible retail prices were well above other detector outlets, when I am up here again this year I will purchase any gear I need before leaving, I support the rest of the town of Clermont 100% the shopping is great the pubs and meals great I think this particular outlet should go out and take a few lessons from their counterparts.

Would like to say thank you. You guys are so likeable and easy to deal with. Thanks for the extra help and taking us to the diggings it definitely helped us find our 1st gold nugget..

Review from Kevin Waldrom. On arrival in Clermont 6mths ago I met Jonathan Porter - JP. He advised me to purchase a GPZ 7000 If I was serious about detecting. I took his advice and was then given the best tuition I have ever received. He also fitted dual speakers and a signal booster { His design} to my harness. On my first lesson we found a small nugget in five minutes. JP's knowledge of detecting is incredible. During the following weeks I found 15 nuggets, one of which was 3 grams. Once I become more familiar with the machine , Im sure I will do better. So if you are considering buying a detector

Real happy with the Gpz7000 I bought recently from The Outback Prospector. I found these guys to be real friendly & very helpful in answering all my questions before making the purchase. Postage was super quick only 2 days to arrive.

Was trying out my 4500 at the four mile for the first time and the head phones drove me mad. Dropped into this shop on way home and purchased an amplifier and speaker. Great service and advice. Tested today and am very impressed. Advice was spot on. Definitely recommend this business.

I've known JP and his family since approx 2008/2009 and have had NOTHING but POSITIVE interactions with them. JP has helped me on more than one occasion, be it problems with my Minelab where his outstanding relationship with the company provided me with a repair that saved me money, time and frustration or my purchasing all his training DVD's which I consider a MUST PURCHASE for any serious fossicker. JP and Frieda are two of the most trust worthy and outstanding pillars of this community and I truly believe that legacy will continue with the kids..... It was so awesome to see them open an official store and while I work in the USA, I long for the day that on one of my annual trips to Vic or Tib that our schedules match and I can finally meet these people who I respect and love more than anyone in the industry face to face...... NO WHERE will you find a better example of what good business people are than this family.Jennifer Bond

I dropped in to purchase a licence. The lady in the shop advised me I needed to get one on line. She then gave me a detailed briefing of where the GPAs were, how to get there, the best GPA for my detector, and where I could find resources on line. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient. So I didn't buy anything and still received five star local advice. I would definitely recommend paying them a visit.

What an arrogant rotten woman. Stay clear of her. Never go there again.The price of stuff ia a joke. I agree with tekka. That woman.GrrrrrrrrrrExactly what is her problem. Didn't bother buying anything. Talk about abrupt. Went back to van park. At fire i brought it up. People laughed and said welcome to clermont. They all agreed and reckon the husband is worst. As they said buy ya things from townsville mot there. At least the guy in townsville is nice and smiles.future referance folks. So rude there.
