Bon Vin
Lovely little spot. Super cozy atmosphere. Staff were friendly but a touch slow (they admitted they were short staffed that night so all good). They made up for it with some wine tastings! The wine selection was broad and a reasonable price point. The famous duck ravioli was amazing, as were the scallops and the paper bag baked fish. The beef two ways was good but not quite as good as the rest (but I generally prefer fattier more flavoured cuts of beef).

The best French restaurant in Sydney. The menu is limited, meaning that the food is carefully prepared and a lot of time is dedicated to presentation (unlike other French restaurants in Sydney who prepare food en masse).There are only a few tables and the wait staff were extremely professional and friendly. There is no tacky upselling or pushy waiters and the intimate ambience makes it excellent for a special occasion.

Had the best experience at Bon Vin. Food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff were able to give amazing recommendations and wine pairings with each meal. I highly recommend Bon Vin and will definitely be returning.

Bon Vin is these days a not so hidden secret. It’s in a lane way and down a flight of stairs. When you enter the restaurant the decor and the atmosphere wows you. The music is pleasant and plays quietly in the background, adding to the mood.Waitstaff are friendly and helpful.Food is excellent. There were six of us and we each had a different choice. We all raved about the taste sensations.All in all 10 out of 10.

Had one of the best night in Sydney. Romantic and cosy cellar dining room, friendly waiter and dish is absolutely delicious, I would rank it before Huber and Filex. Slow cooked grass fed beef fillet is a must try, red wine jus was cooked for 3 days. Will definitely come back again

Second time coming to Bon Vin, reasonable priced French semi- a la carte menu is amazing. Waiter is accommodating and friendly, not surprising that Bon Vin became your favourite French restaurant in Sydney.

Better than I expect. Not a lot of choice on the menu but every dish is excellent which I prefer this way. Oyster/scallop/ duck are must order!

Had 3 course dinner.Entree and main were stunning - highly recommend the tuna and beef.I would give a 5-star if we have more choices on dessert (e.g. some fruity options other than creme brûlée/chocolate cake). The desserts we had aren’t bad but just lacking a wow factor.

Absolutely amazing staff, service and food. Restaurant has a really cozy atmosphere. Front of house were really friendly and looked after us well. Food was awesome, especially duck ravioli, duck confit and pork. Will come back again!
