A really nice place to eat. I had seafood ramen and karaage chicken which was good. The ramen was decent and the karaage as well but not as good as other places I've been too. I didn't quite like the prices on the menu when I first got there, it seemed a little farfetched for a sushi joint. However, the prices were justified by the fresh quality and the enormous serving size.I usually prefer smaller servings at a better price, but if huge bowls of ramen are your thing then this is the place for you. The other customers sushi also seemed to be in big servings so it seems like it would be better if I were to come back with my partner and share a dish.I would recommend coming here if you're in the immediate area, it's better than a majority of the places around. It just seemed like there was something missing and I feel like it sits closer to four stars than five.I will be returning to try out other menu items though.

Highly satisfied with the sushi and other Japanese dishes at this fine establishment. Wait once ordered was reasonably short, dishes were hot, and overall delicious. Would particularly recommend the Moon’s roll.

I'd like to give FOUR AND A HALF A STAR.I was very hungry, so it made me happy that the food was done super quickly (not too busy for Saturday afternoon).I had a seaweed salad and medium sushi & sashimi platter. It was very good. It wasn't anything extra or super luxurious, but the food tasted good and was done quickly, I couldn't ask for more from a small restaurant like this. The prices are very fine as well.

Overall it was good. Just a couple of things that could be improved upon. We were dining in and there was no table service, having to stand in line to order amongst a sudden influx of takeaway orders was disappointing. The food was excellent except for 1 dish, that dish being seafood pancake which is usually my favourite here was more an omelette than a pancake. Our fish cakes and spicy chicken was amazing.

This was my second visit to moon's sushi, i wasn't impressed the staff were great well mannered and presented how ever the young women who was operating the till taking our order did not have much knowledge about the menu or the type of sushi on offer, perhaps she was new i cannot say.Our order come out quickly and was well presented smelt nice but it just did not get there taste wise, i felt it was missing something, it needed a little kick i also thought the rice was a little under cooked for my liking.To sum up.friendly and approachable staffClean tidy environmentWell presented foodFair pricingMissing a wow factor in the taste departmentI encourage you not to take my experiences to heart try for your self as yours may differ.

When I first arrived at the restaurant, there were rice grains all over the floor. It was disgusting that no one cleaned them up. Then one of the staff cleaned up and asked us to sit down. There were some rice grains left on the chair, which was very unhygienic. Then came to the food, my friend and I ordered two bentos, one is katsu chicken, the other is spicy chicken, Both were completely tasteless, and I also ordered a sushi, I have eaten so many Japanese meals, this is the first time to eat warm sushi, rice is very soft glutinous, the temperature of sushi is high, it is unpalatable and taste unpleasant . I don't understand why so many people give such high score , Maybe this is the only Asian restaurant in Nowra, but still , as a real foodie ,this place will not recommended.

Friendly and helpful staff, very fresh tucker and a lovely atmosphere that goes out of it's way to cater to everyone. The most deserning of tastes will be pleasantly surprised by the quality ingredients in every dish. Good prices, helpful dish recommendations and Japanese food, quite unlike that usually offered.My son and I walked away both satisfied and most impressed by this hidden treasure in the heart of Nowra.

4 and a half stars I love love love the yaki noodles but I ordered grilled salmon artisan r I'll and only got the TINIEST amount of salmon and just mostly veggies. Although I love the staff only wish you guys sell cold green tea or sugar free drinks bedside water and hot tea! Lobe your other sushi tho

First experience at Moons, young waitress was polite, professional and helpful.The $30 dinner bento box I first thought was a bit pricey, but when it came to the table I was surprised by the size of the portions. So I was then happy with the prices.Only issue was the side salad was soggy, like it had been sitting near the heat before serving, and the chopsticks (typical single use disposal type) I found to be a bit on the cheaper and rough side of the market.
