Brokenwood Wines
There was a singer singing which made a really nice vibe. We ordered a wine tasting menu (Brokenwood favourite flights) with a Barrique cheese platter. The cheese was served with a really delicious bread. The bread has a charcoal grilled aroma and melted butter taste. Very soft bread, matched perfectly with the sauce made with spices and grapes. There are three types of cheese offered. We loved the brie cheese which has an amazing shrimp taste.Although the wine are from year 2021 and 2022 but they still provide some complexity when we tasted.

Brokenwood, more like Deadwood. Fine dining is more like miniature dining. Service from the waitress was good. Only one beer was bottled and warm. There was plenty of room to sit but told that all seats were reserved after being advised there was a table for our group. Find somewhere else if it's an overpriced deck you want, then maybe this is perfect for you.

A big thank you to Nat, our event coordinator, from Brokenwood Wines for our Mustang Drive Day Lunch. Nat went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and the service we received was top-notch. Plus, the food and wine is AMAZING!Overall, I can't recommend Brokenwood Wines enough for any event, and Nat made the experience truly exceptional.

The most delicious meal we had on our weekend away was at Brokenwood. The lamb and pork belly were so delicious and the eggplant dip was smoky and very moreish. Amazing service, highly recommend.We also went for a wine tasting and the staff was so knowledgeable, we had pairing with canapés. Wonderful experience. Harrison hosted us and he was fantastic. This is my new favourite place to visit and would absolutely come back.

Brokenwood Wines
Had an extraordinary experience at Brokenwood with our very educational and accommodating host. We went together in with a group of 8 where we enjoyed a seated wine and food flight with a selection of 6 Brokenwood wines matched with bite-sized canapés. They took us on a food and wine journey and it would be the last time - I will be back again!Would recommend to all foodies!

Wine seems decent, atmosphere is nice, staff are absolutely friendly and accommodating!Unfortunately the gluten free pizza is… not good.. don’t get me wrong, it *looks* reasonable (by the photos at least)..Edit: the staff are an absolute credit, and have made a very nice gesture, having noticed we didn’t enjoy the gluten free pizza and took our concerns on board. I do genuinely appreciate the efforts (extra star)Original review below:Fairly confident the pizza base is straight from a supermarket freezer, and the quality of the ingredients seems overwhelmingly sub-par..Gluten free pizza does not have to be this way, it would be better to not offer this option.

Great place to lunch or taste or both. Some of the very expensive wines are really nice but we came for a box of table wine red. Something cheap but good to have with our dinner. We enjoyed sampling everything. Had a really good pizza. Left knowing we will return. Lovely views and great staff. I didn’t give 5 stars bc I thought the pricing strategy of the wines was not quite right. I think some inexperienced wine drinkers might get bamboozled opting for a higher end drink when they could get just as good on the lower grades.

Brokenwood Wines
Brokenwood is one of the best fine dining places in all of the Hunter Valley, it provides a wide and broad menu which is absolutely delicious. Their staff is 10/10, they are very kind and can answer any desired questions related to the food or wine. The food paired perfectly with the wine and drinks, it was a match made in heaven. The food really enhanced the deep flavours of the wine and made it enjoyable. They also have a very interesting kids menu which can accomodate their allergies. I am most DEFINITELY coming back here next time we are in the Hunter. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. The atmosphere is wonderful as well.

Delicious 12 hr slow cooked lamb shoulder at The Wood. The restaurant is definitely worth 5 stars review.Unfortunately wine tasting crew were not as friendly as the restaurant. So we give it a miss ... there are plenty more wineries with great wines we can buy.

We had a lovely, late lunch at The Wood Restaurant. If you’re looking for a beautiful, modern cellar door and restaurant with quality service and spectacular food and bev, we’d recommend Brokenwood Wines :)
