The Macquarie Barber

This place was an utter waste of time and rude service. We walked in and sat down while 3 barbers were cutting others hair and we were next in line and asked if it was ok to sit. When the first barber finished, he went into the back for 5 mins and just walked out of the store without a word so figured he was going on his break. The second guy then finished cutting the next man’s hair and he swept up quickly and again ignored us, no eye contact or communication and just walked out the store again without any word when we might be next. The last guy then proceeded to finish the haircut he was completing, I asked him what was happening and if the others were coming back or what and he just shrugged his shoulders and again didn’t say a word. I’m used to waiting in line after a few people when getting a hair cut but just being completely ignored with my kid and it seemed pretty obvious they didn’t care about your business.

I was getting ready for a meeting so I had to get a haircut but one of the barbers cut my hair really bad and didn’t get any close to what I had showed him on my phone and he was really rough on my head if it was my decision I would fire him not trying to be rude but it doesn’t seem he is an actual barber

Highly recommend The Macquarie Barber, a very clean, nice and comfortable barbershop. Shout out to Alex , not only a great and skilled barber, but the nicest person offering a great customer service. look for him if you want your hair cut by someone who is professional.

Went in after a long time for a haircut and was truly impressed by the quick service. Didn’t have to wait even though it was fairly busy.Milad is super friendly and gave me an amazing haircut. Did exactly what I asked for and delivered a great experience overall.This place has been my favourite even though I have moved a bit far from uni. 100% recommended.

Overall their services are pretty good. I mostly go there on Thursdays. Now that owner is not there on thursdays and the other guy who usually is at the end doesn’t work on thursdays I had to get a haircut from another guy. The guy wearing glasses did my haircut , the experience wasn’t really great. I went back few times wondering he might eventually get it right but he couldn’t figure it out. First time he cut it too short and then next time he couldn’t do the proper blend and eventually I ended up going somewhere else to get it fixed.

Great place for a haircut and beard trim, the owner Kalpesh is one of the nicest people you'll meet. I've been coming here for close to 10 years and I'll continue to return.

I went by Saturday afternoon hoping to get a shave and a haircut. Service was immediate and excellent !! The best haircut in a long time and the straight razor shave was awesome. I wish I was a local, I’d go there every month. They also noticed I’m a bit older and confirmed I’m a pensioner (retired) and gave me a discount. Great shop!!!!

No queue! Great haircut for my son. Bit more than I would like to spend $32 for 15 year old but was a great style so all good.

Decent barbershop, was satisfied with the haircut but that's coz I'm not fussy. Clean and well maintained, might get crowded on weekends..
