This business is overpriced and taking advantage of the boom we are having in Mackay. I paid 5 times what others have charged for services at Jaks. I will never use them again and advise others to be vary wary. Such a shame because the staff are very good, unfortunately it's all about money with this company.

Jim was very helpful and not pushy. He would rather have you as a long term client, than a short term sale. Highly recommended

I don't like to review so harshly but what I experienced this afternoon was unreasonable and unfair. early Feb I booked my 56 zero turn mower in for a full services and asked if it would be ok to use the trailer as I live further out of town and to take it home to bring back the next day. As I work a Mon- Frid job. I was advised if I "pick up close to 5pm that will be fine not an issue" I arrived at the front of the store at 4:50pm and doors where shut/locked I tried calling as I saw staff inside. I thought it's only a trailer so I might pop around the service side and just ask. The manager Jim bluntly had a go at me "how dare you do you know what time it is" I said "I had booked it with them for this reason and have been out the front prior to closing." he spat and walked off.That kind of behaviour is poor and not acceptable. If a team is lead by such a poor manager/owner why go there. I walked off rather than face any more ridicule from thisPerson. Plenty of other service centers offering customer services.I suspect Jim will say I am a keyboard warrior but I am not I chose not to be spat at by any service provider."

Excellent service, great communication and really reasonably priced. I had repairs done to a small generator and could not fault their service. If I ever have issues with a small motor they will be my service provider.

Couldn't be happier. Had a bent deck and a few other bits that needed fixing and its come back like new. Mows great again with everything level and all fixed at a good price.

I have only recently dealt with this company & what a great experience it was. It was a pleasure dealing with such lovely staff. Their service, friendliness towards their customers & communication was outstanding. I had to source a part for an Echo Shredder Vac. Doug couldn’t have been more helpful & nothing was a problem. The part was ordered & was received within the week. Prices are excellent compared to others around Mackay. I can’t recommend JAK Outdoor more highly to others. Thank you to all the staff at JAK Outdoor.

Most impressed with service and advice given by Matty , and Todds recommendation of Matts ability to fix my sons kx 250.Not only did they deliver and fix the bike at a reasonable price when they said they would but they contacted me on time which quite disappointingly other specialised dealers couldnt .The guys were upfront honest and delivered. Go see them if you have any small engine issues.Many thanks Matty and Todd.

not what I expected spoke to Jim on the phone before I gave them my mower when I got it back was in worse condition than when it went in then spoke to Jim on the Saturday and he was going to sort it out and contact me on Monday he also threatened me with the red button meaning he would hang up on me never got back to me well over priced I want to buy a new mower but not from them be aware 9 30 Tuesday Jim rings me and denied that he said that he would ring me on Monday and then hung up on me so if he cant have his way then he just hangs up not good to do business with never again for me I lost $200 over the cost of the service which in total was $498 00 but he will loose more from losing customers with his attitude I would have retracted this if he had been civilised to me and sorted it out but he did not want to

Beware. My mower has been in about 5 weeks now. I called 3 times trying to find out what was happening. No one called me back then went into shop to find out and got info. Then I was called by some Jim guy who was an arrogant piece of work and I ended by hanging up. Seriously company is something else. Never again.I expect that he will come back to review this message with another excuse.
