I went ahead with SPS Energy installation of a 6.4 kW PV system which was completed on 21Jul 2017. However communication with SPS Energy was a concern with failure to provide complete information on time occurring. Subsequent to the physical installation of the photovoltaic system SPS Energy failed to complete Connect (CX Application) and EWR (Electrical Work Request) paperwork, which is required for connection by the Energy provider (Energex) to connect you to the grid and meter your PV provision. Over 10 weeks following the completed and totally paid for installation I am unsure whether SPS has yet provided the paperwork to Energex but know it had not occurred by 26 Sep 2017.Even thoughEnergex has acknowledged this failure SPS Energy has not provided any apology , information or compensation for this failure which means my solar contribution to the grid goes inactivated, unmetered and without financial compensation from my investment. Stay way from this company would be my advice.

Purchased a house in 2019 with a SPS hybrid system installed that was under warranty. The system consisted of two inverters with SPS PRO management and two LG Chem batteries, this wasnt your standard system set up !Although the system worked it had a intermittent fault, Jock from SPS accepted the warranty claim and continued on finding the fault within the system. Customers need to understand that Hybrid systems are complex and sensitive to anomalies on the metered and un-metered side.Thanks to SPS Energy they found the defect to be a manufactures defect within the SPS PRO and replaced the unit. Having worked in the solar industry before working on warranty claims with manufactures it is very time consuming and exhausting, So good things come to those that can wait !Thanks SPS EnergyHappy Customers

I had SPS install a 10kw pv system with 2 x LG Batteries for a full stand alone setup on our new home in July 2028. The system, it’s installation and operation is flawless.However I have since ordered a solar pool heating system from SPS with deposit made in October 2018 and I am currently still awaiting the installion 6 months later. I believe my only hope of having this system installed is through ‘Consumer Affairs’. My experience requires me to recommend SPS only for POV solar.

Expert advice and recommendation on solar systems. We were very pleased with the care and neatness of the SPS Energy installation of new roof panels and a hybrid inverter and Li-ion batteries by SoFar which is working fine so far. Would recommend.

SPS Energy carried out a warranty service, some early versions of Trina panels delaminated and all of the affected panels were replaced efficiently by the SPS team.

Pomona Meals on Wheels - We contacted SPS Energy i July last year and they gave us a quote they were very helpful and suggested a system that would give us the best use. We had to get some approvals and it took until May this year for that to happen and during that time Jock & Holly (SPS) were totally patient and helpful and made sure the system was put in asap. The process has been terrific from start to finish and we highly recommend this Company for excellent service.

9 YEAR OLD SOLAR SYSTEM STOPPED WORKING.SPS ENERGY ELECTRICIAN HAD IT FIXED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF SPEAKING WITH THEMORIGINAL SOLAR COMPANY TOLD US WE NEEDED A WHOLE NEW SYSTEM ...WOULD TAKE 2 - 3 WEEKS ONCE WE SIGNED UP AS THE OLD SOLAR PANELS WON'T MATCH UP WITH ANY NEW INVERTER - QUOTED $3500ALL IT NEEDED WAS REPLACEMENT ISOLATOR FOR THE ORIGINAL INVERTER - $240BUT ADVISED NEW INVERTER ( THOUGH NOT NEEDED) WOULD MATCH UP....THANK YOU SPS ENERGYNICE TO HAVE A LOCAL FIRM TO TRUST

I don't know what other people are talking about, the service from the guys at SPS has been excellent, peace of mind with the 24/7 call out at no cost for 5 yrs is top notch for a family. They were reliable, good value and the system works perfectly.No bills, fully off grid and when the gridpower goes out in Glenwood we are still watching Netflix! Can't recommend them highly enough and if you want to come and see our system, ask Jock and we would be happy to oblige.

Extremely poor customer service!! Do not seem interested in business. I dropped by about a week ago to enquire about solar panels and general questions concerning solar equipment etc. The receptionist had little idea or knowledge and when directed to the manager or owner he stated that he was to busy to speak and was reluctant to even acknowledge me or answer simple questions on when a good time was even possible. If you want service go elsewhere. A simple statement or even gesture that we can help you at a later date would have been nice rather than a rude to busy!!!

Had a great experience with SPS Energy, received a small 3kw system from them, took a few days to install but had some modifications due to house.
