After speaking to many different carpet companies - I walked in Burrows Carpet. They easily surpassed any other business with their excellent customer service and quality products. That same day the owner William came and gave me a measure and quote (even on a Saturday!) and I had carpet fully installed and finished by the following Wednesday! (every other business had up to 8 week waits!) I would recommend William to anyone!

The team at Burrows were 10/10 for us! We visited multiple flooring stores around ACT to find flooring for our renovation. Many appeared to have the typical Canberra tax" which saw us getting quoted double the price of Sydney suppliers. The team at Burrows helped us source our flooring which was in limited supply due to COVID and internal freight issues. Their communication was spot on

Very happy with the process of purchasing new Godfrey Hirst carpet at Burrows Carpets. William and Meg were very helpful, gave excellent advice on carpet types and colours, and the turnaround from order to supply was quick. Carpet layer, Dom, did a great job and left the place tidy when finished.

Don't go here. Take your business elsewhere.A true story: we ordered new laminate floors with Burrows carpets. We were then advised ahead of time of a shipping delay, which was fine, noting we'd received plenty of notice and could rearrange our calendars. Delays do happen, especially when the origin of a product is overseas.Then, on the new date Burrows had told us installation was to take place (and which they had twice confirmed would go ahead) - nothing happened. No-one calls. No-one arrives. No-one answers the phone. I drive to the store, which is closed: there's a sign on the door saying they are shut without notice. There is no suggested contact number.I eventually made contact with someone in the afternoon - by then I'd had to miss hours of work, and also put up with the worry that the company had phoenixed and taken our money and run with it. When finally I get through, I'm told that the floorboards didn't arrive on the truck from Sydney that morning. But where was the phone call to me to tell me not to wait around for them? Where was the thought given to the customer who would be receiving them? They seemed surprised we didn't know.They promise to try again tomorrow, but that they'll call to confirm the installation will go ahead before arriving - at least an hour's warning, they promise, so that I don't have to scramble away from work to get to the property. And what happens instead? I get a hurried phone call from a contractor - with no knowledge of what happened the day prior - wondering where I am and asking me to hurry up and let them in, because they'd been there for 30 minutes already.The quality of the contractor's workmanship was fine, and the products sold here are high quality, but the customer service and logistical hijinx are not worth the trouble. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else...

Just had Tom and his team here from Burrows to install our carpet and I’m super pleased with how it went.Godfrey Hirst Eco Carpet is so soft but also easy to maintain. The installation was quick and stress free.This is the second house I have used Burrows to install new carpet and replaced the old with the Godfrey Hirst.I absolutely recommend the Burrows team- William, Meg and Tom their installer.

I found burrows really helpful, knowledgeable and very fair on price.I originally got a quote from Floorworld in Fyshwick, it took quite a bit of back and forward to get a quote and when I was ready to have floors laid there was a 4 month wait! So I rang Meg at burrows and she was able to help me out straight away, I had a quote within minutes and she’d given me details for an installer.It was significantly cheaper than floorworld for the exact same product. And when I got the floors installed it turned out floorworld had also vastly over done the materials needed. Burrows was kind enough to let me return and refund the extra materials, even though they had ordered them from their suppliers. Will go to them again.
