City Reach Motel

An older-style motel with very helpful and friendly owners. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Easy parking. Location is central, main business district is 5 minutes walk. We had dinner at a very good restaurant just next door (Watermarc). Definitely recommended.

Great prices and the friendly owners that made us feel very welcome. The rooms were clean and tidy, perfect for our toddler. Air-conditioning was great in the 40+ degree weather, as were the black our curtains. The facilities were lovely and we enjoyed the pool and bbq area.

My hobby is filming trains and train stations and I chose the City Reach because it's a nice walk to the station and I had read the motel reviews.What a great place to stay, the owners were great, they made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet and inexpensive.I enjoyed my stay.

The rooms are fine. I left 2 nights early and they have simply ignored that and kept the money.I would exercise caution.

Reasonable price, right on the main road, easy to get too.Rooms feel a bit dated, but were comfy, clean and functional. Very minimal cutlery/dishes/glasses provided.

Pros: the rooms are spacious, the bed is comfortable, wifi is good, staff at the front desk were all very friendly. Room has a nice little kitchenette with microwave, fridge, and sink.Hot water worked well and the shower pressure was good.Location was very central, short few minute walk to all the shops and restaurants. Also big pro for me was the later check out time when booking direct.Cons: as soon as I walked in all I could smell was some chemical smell, had to open my window for a few hours to help remove the smell, the carpet is stained, the cleanliness especially of the bathroom could be a bit better. The blanket I felt was inadequate for winter but luckily the heater seemed to work well.The TV in the room is a bit small and outdated but worked well so not a big deal.
