Cheated! Bought a Second Hand Guitar from Terry Oreilly owner of Twang Central. Martinez MP-D2T-NGL for $300 after he recommended it for me a beginner. Turns out the NEW PRICE of said guitar is only $239 from a host of outlets including Derringers of Adelaide. If you are new to guitar and need advice I recommend to avoid this place or you may also be Cheated .I phoned Terry about this, he said he would call me back but never did.

This store is excellent, full of all the eye candy a guitarist could wish for. Generally focused on vintage gear they still have lots of newer items, lots of Gibson, Fender, Gretsch, Guild, Martin and all the early Jap knock offs. Terry (the owner) really knows he's stuff and has been in the industry since Noah was a boy. If you're visiting Adelaide this place is a must to check out.

Probably the best guitar shop in Adelaide. Terry is honest, straight talking and has probably forgotten more about vintage guitars than you’ll ever know. He’s great for a yarn or some advice on gear. He also does a great job with setting up and repairing vintage instruments. Great selection of new and second hand electrics, acoustics, basses, ukuleles and amplifiers. Also a superb collection of vintage Fender and Gibson electrics and Gibson and Martin acoustics. They also stock any accessories you might be after too. Go have a squiz, you’ll be glad you did.
