Bidjigal Reserve - Platypus Track
This is a great small reserve to spend a couple of hours relaxing and taking nature in. Great walk and dogs allowed. There are lots of bird types here to keep an eye out for. The creek is great to enjoy when it rains. You will have to be careful in a few spots along the track as the recent rains have washed some embankment away. It is a nice easy walk and you can take the kids to have some fun too.

Bidjigal Reserve - Platypus Track
Family friendly nature surprise. Lovely varied 30 minute loop track along the creek. Stepping stones, interesting rock overhangs. Great for an afternoon walk to get the kids out of the house and away from screens. Amazing how Sydney has these lovely nature surprises. Worth a bookmark and a plan to visit.

Bidjigal Reserve - Platypus Track
It’s a lovely track in bushes, it takes 34 minutes to cover this whole loop track. You can start from one point and then finished off the other. You will find beautiful lakes along side the track, lovely trees and chirping of birds and crickets - it’s very soothing. A very calming and soothing track down the city:Loved it..highly recommended for bush walkers like me haha

Bidjigal Reserve - Platypus Track
Overall a really nice walk, but there are a lot of fallen trees at the moment. Track isn't clearly marked, so would keep an eye on the map. We did Platypus and Burraga loop which was 7.2kms. Walk is relatively flat and beautiful. Heaps of street parking at the beginning of the walk.

Had an amazing day here with my kids and dog. Easy enough hike but would allow yourself plenty of time to get from start to finish. Beautiful place.

Bidjigal Reserve - Platypus Track
Great little 2km loop track that allows dogs. The surface is nicely supported in some areas, but loose in others. Also quite hilly. Some nice pathways following waterways. A couple of other longer walks possible. Only issue is sewage smells/pipes in sections.

Bidjigal Reserve - Platypus Track
Went on a quiet monday arvo. It’s a very fun, moderately easy walk. Some sections are muddy so beware of where what you wear before you come, my dog absolutely loved it and it was first ever hike. Cant recommend this enough to dog owners.

Bidjigal Reserve - Platypus Track
Absolutely perfect place for walking. Do not need to go to the blue mountains. This is a nice place tucked away in the hills area.Perfect even on hot days. Lots of shade and relaxing but still needing a good fitness level as lots of ups and downs.

I'm only giving 4 stars to this walk, as there is heaps of litter,Old tyres pieces of plastic etc on the track... . Plus water smelly bit weird, with grey ish colour- like sewage is leaking into creek. 4stars for for plenty of birds to watch and it's in city so great accessibility.We did longer circle which is 7+km.

Bidjigal Reserve - Platypus Track
Suppose to be a 30mins walk we went out for 2hrs enjoyable but also a bit lost as there no track maps at entrance we have to navigate via phone lucky we have some receptions. Although it’s a convenient walk at my door step but I can smell sewage downstream even after all these rain we had!
