Woodvale Tae Kwon Do Martial Arts

I have been training at first taekwondo Woodvale for over 10 years and it has impacted my life in such a great way. I’ve been taught many skills and it has helped me build confidence. This is all thanks to senior instructor Frank and a number of other instructors.

I've been training at First Taekwondo Woodvale Dojang since 2018, and loved every second of it. The exercises are challenging enough to develop our skills effectively, and the instructors are very supportive so we stay motivated. It is a great opportunity to learn discipline, mental and physical strength, as well as teamwork, empathy, and foster trust. The Woodvale Dojang's instructors were with me every step of the way and I really appreciated their dedication night after night to this cause. Every moment has been worth it and I look forward to attending First Taekwondo at Woodvale Dojang in the future.

Instructor Frank is a very experienced black belt. I appreciate the level of respect he has for all students of all ages, genders and skill levels as it can be intimidating being a beginner female in martial arts which is stereotypically predominantly male dominated.

Woodvale First Taekwondo Martial Arts offers dedicated and supportive instructors. It brings strength, fitness and confidence to all the students who train there.

My family of 4 have found the environment at Woodvale to be welcoming and Senior Instructor Frank, Instructor Jeff and Assistant Instructors to be totally focused to provide their best for their students. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for anyone, young or old, that wants to work on their fitness, build a strong mind and spirit and learn the traditional art of tae kwon do.

My daughter has been training at this centre for over 6 years ever since I got her into Tae Kwon Do she’s been loving it. All the instructors are super supportive and kind. This place is one of a kind and I can say with full confidence that my daughter doesn’t want to leave this place one bit.

I attend First Taekwondo Woodvale branch as a secondary training centre to my own Dojang. Senior Instructor Frank and Instructor Jeff are welcoming, professional, and patient in their instruction of a class with varying experience.Frank provides a challenging but enjoyable class to ensure everyone works toward the skills required to achieve their next belt level.Highly recommend First Taekwondo Woodvale for anyone wanting to try a family friendly traditional self defence oriented martial art.

I have personally been training at the First Tae Kwon Do Woodvale Branch for over 15 years and can comfortably say I wouldn’t be who I am today without the support and guidance of Senior Instructor Frank and his instructors. The class provides a great opportunity to work on your fitness whilst also learning a traditional martial art in a safe and supportive environment. Learning a traditional martial art is an experience quite like no other as not only does it teach you a new skill but it helps build confidence and discipline. Highly recommend going for a few trial lessons to try it out.
