Motorama Holden & HSV Springwood

Drove an hour to get a radio code for my Colorado spoke to a service assistant over the phone she said yep no worries we can do that just pop down to the dealership so I drove down had all the required details i need to obtain the code as she stated on the phone once I arrived I was told by another bloke no sorry I can’t get into the system and it was left at that poor service and just a waste of my time in general bit more of an effort wouldn’t have gone to stray

Motorama Holden Springwood best sales experience of any dealership that I visited in search of a new vehicle. They knew their product better than any; they showed genuine interest in my wishes and requirements; they were courteous, sincere and friendly, and definitely not pushy no tried to over-sell the car or accessories. The showroom and customer waiting area are also superior to other dealerships, but it was really the staff attitude that made Motorama Holden Springwood shine. This experience was far above any other dealership I encountered.

Wouldn’t recommend. Had my 2017 Holden Colorado in yesterday for a diagnostic with regards to the all to common transmission shudder issue. When I collected the Ute they told me the tech was not able to replicate the issue. When I asked if I could take the tech for a short drive was told not available for several days. Was offered a date in 3 weeks time.Ironic thing is any slight incline, slope, hill the transmission shudders like no tomorrow. But yet the tech allegedly could not find this on the ‘test drive’. As soon as I drove it out of their lockup compound the thing was shuddering like no tomorrow.Makes me wonder whether it ever left the forecourt as I did not record the before and after mileage.Two stars because one the diagnostics I did not have to pay for and wouldn’t have, secondly the initial booking in process, text confirmation, friendly staff on morning of drop off were all great.UPDATE: 1 week later I took it to Barton’s Capalaba Holden. Bizarre they found the issue almost immediately and confirmed it is in fact the Torque Converter. Something this mob could not achieve. Worrying if they can’t diagnose a common and relatively simple issue.

Took my car here for a service in December 2022 and mentioned there was a noise coming from back wheels. Collected car and apparently they found nothing wrong with the vehicle. Noise persisted and I now regret not getting it rechecked by another mechanic sooner. I had been driving my child around with a broken wheel bearing and very little back breaks for the last 6 months being I trusted this dealership (as I have purchased 2 brand new cars from them and had regular servicing over the years). As noise progressively got worst I sent my husband to get new tyres for the vehicle (from a tyre shop) as I was worried one would explode while I was driving it. This is when the issues were found. Cost a bomb to fix to make it safe and made me feel physically I’ll knowing I has been driving around in a unsafe vehicle. Called dealership to report what had happened, they did return my call but very little care factor given in regards to situation. I was told a particular staff member would call me back after consulting with the principle, I followed up today and pretty much was told, not their problem. This review will not be a shock as I did let them know I would be leaving it and also will be following up with the department of fair trading as I don’t want this to happen to any other mother and young child. Not good enough from a family that has trusted both their vehicles to this service centre for many years now. We will not be returning.

The team at Motorama Springwood are amazing to deal with. I have two vehicles serviced with them and they go above and beyond to look after the cars and ensure that their servicing is not only done to a very high standard but also that the cars are looked after whilst in their care. I would highly recommend Motorama Springwood to anyone looking for great service and care for their car.

My son had a wheel alignment on his ute, simple job you would think?They didn’t have the right camber bolts but changed them anyway. Now i don’t know about anyone else but why wouldn’t you tell the customer we’ll get the rights bolts for you then do the job.I spoke to Bradley on the ph, he said he’ll organise a price to get it changed, I waited for the call. I even sent him an email! 2 weeks later…No response until after I posted this review. I was happy to get this fixed if they had treated me with respect and phoned me back straight away with the price but now Trust is lost.My advice- If you don’t have the right parts, let people know, rectify the problem instead of charging people & letting them go somewhere else to get it done properly. :-)

Once you have a problem no one knows how to diagnose they will leave you with bills and no help.. Holden is the real problem, other brands I've had great customer service with but never Holden again, already talked one mate away from a brand new Holden, will aim for 10 deferrals.In reply to Darren, this is who I feel after paying for a repair and still having the same problem a year and 3 attempts to diagnose the issue later and have been told I'm no longer being given help so yeh, it's accurate.
