I have used Australian Outdoor Living for 4 separate projects and on all occasions, I found them to be extremely professional. From the installation with Jared to the home office interactions with Rebecca, the whole process was smooth and hassle free. They have excellent customer service and I highly recommend them. And I was particularly impressed on this occasion because the installation occurred during the COVID-19 restrictions and the process still occurred smoothly.

Not measured correctly. Still waiting 14 weeks later! And a very rude GM!A representative came out to our place for a free measure and quote. He measured the blinds, a 50% deposit was paid, a couple of days later a second pair of tradies came out and measured the blinds (3 people in total). I was promised 6-8 weeks from deposit (paid on 24/11/21) to install. AOL were more expensive, but I thought More expensive = better quality and customer service". How wrong I was.We paid the remaining amount due on the blind when they came to install it (total over $2

Jarrod & his assistant Nathan installed outdoor blinds at my house in Palm Beach.They were both very respectful & courteous on arrival, removed their shoes before entering the house, & took great care with the installation of the blinds.I am really thrilled with the whole experience with AOL

This Company is hopeless . Staff member measured the area that I wished to have done in artificial grass said ok', quoted a price and i paid 50% deposit was was told it could take up to 2 months for the work to be done . A second staff member came out to check the measurements and requirements for the work . A week later a phone call with the excuse that they did not have sufficient entry at my property and refunded the deposit . I then phoned The Great Lawn Company at Beenleigh they came out and measured the 50sm area and said that it could be done in two weeks time . Paid the 50% deposit { which incidentally was slightly less than Outdoor Living } had continual updates from their Administration Dept and advised that the work was scheduled for the 19th April . The 4 person installation team arrived at 7am , Removed the Colourbond door and two gas cylinders taking about 10 mins then they had access . The Installation team were great happy and friendly and finished at 3.30pm after replacing the gas cylinders and gate an absolutely beautiful job to their very professional team that I would gladly recommend them to anyone . 7 year warranty

Great service from start to finish. The sales guy was really helpful and knows the product. As far as quality of the product and workmanship we couldn't be happier.Getting the blinds has been the best best decision we made, they cut the glare and heat by a lot i dare say probably more that 70%, which in turn keeps our house cooler and also gives us a nice outdoor area for the hot summer days.

Buyer beware. Expected more from a $3,700+ blind. (1) Product Warranty - there is a reason it is only 12 months for the winding mechanism. After less than 2 years our blind developed a grinding noise. (2) Product Quality - Was told more than once by different staff that this was a common problem, particularly if you live near the coastline which we don't. Apparently from a lack of lubrication of the winding mechanism during manufacture which is still not resolved. Solution is to get Installer to pull apart and lubricate when installing which takes time so doesn't happen. (3) After Service - Lack of lubrication during manufacture sounds like a Warranty Issue. Nope. Told need to book their service man at $190 pre-paid who will pull a part and lubricate. After waiting over a month for service man to be in our area, he declares can't pull a part so squirts so silicon spray inside an opening with a parting comment that no guarantee issue won't come back in 6 months. When challenge office about cost of 5 minute job, told fixed price regardless of time taken. Even a specialist doctor doesn't get paid that well. (4) Documentation - when you purchase you will get a Blind Care Booklet and a Warranty Card which itself contains maintenance information in 2 separate places. You need to read all 3 pieces of information to get the full story as they all contain different information. Apparently one of the most important bits of lubricating the slides is only mentioned at the end of Warranty Card and is not even mentioned in the Care Booklet or the Compulsory Maintenance for Warranty Extension on the front of the Warranty Card. If it is so important, it should be mentioned during install and contained in the Care Booklet and Compulsory Maintenance. Time will tell how long their $190 / 5 minute fix lasts. If a known fault of theirs, they should have done it for free.

We had Daniel come out to provide an in home measure and quote to install some outdoor blinds to our alfresco area. Daniel was punctual, polite and very knowledgable and helped us make the right decisions on products based on what we were wanting for the space. We also had Nathan do the check measure and install who was also very punctual and polite and did an amazing job installing. To our surprise we had the blinds installed in a matter of a few weeks when we were thinking it might be a bit of a wait time, so that was an added bonus for us. Now that the blinds are in, it has completely changed the look and feel of the space. We absolutely love it and have already found ourselves spending more time in the area. Thank you Daniel and Nathan for the great experience and for getting our blinds installed so quickly!

100% would not recommend this company. Blind developed a noise. Was told it is a common problem which they have learnt to lubricate system before installing. Told they could fix with a $190 call out fee which you have to pay before they would book. “Repairs” completed in 5 minutes by spraying with silicon oil then gone!! Not able to open box check inside equipment due to design…no guarantee problem won’t come back in 6 months. Crazy……waste our money , disappointing customer service after shelling out almost $4k for a blind !! Over charge maintenance call out, too much!!
