Merimbula Airport
Had some aircraft delays due to weather, missed my original connection flight. Staff at Merimbula airport were wonderful. They kept me up to date and also arranged a later connection flight for me. Really impressive service

Lot better with the upgrade. Pity the BVSC allows the long term car park in the silt across the road. But then again, you would not expect more from BVSC.

Clean and easy going airport. Only one cafe and a handful of seats available indoors, thought there are seats outdoors. No airport lounges just a small and simple airport. Plan ahead because there aren’t any taxis or public transport options to the airport on Sundays and only a few options on week days.

Got a phone call from the airport to let me know that there were road works outside the airport and that I should allow extra time! Now that's service.Great airport with excellent customer service and a lovely Cafe.

The airport it self is nice but the car park is a joke. I just sat in my car for 15mins trying to get out because there is nowhere for cars to go. And it just takes one inconsiderate fool to stop where they like and no one can get in or out. Really disappointed after all the fancy reno has been done.

Very easy access for all travelling. Very prompt with service and they have a lovely Cafe where one can buy hot or cold food. They cater for a wide range of needs, being vegetarian, vegan or lactose intolerance. There is also an outside eating area where one can watch light planes land and take-off. The also have the 6 metre tall east coast flower which is in bloom at the moment. I forget the name but have included a photo.

Such a clean little Airport. Indeed so much so, that It looked as if it had only opened a week ago (but from other reviews, it seems that it was renovated ?2 years ago?).Great toasted Turkish sandwiches at the little cafe. Helpful staff. Toilets and all amenities were sparkling clean, and great local original artworks in the terminal.A delight of a regional airport, and so convenient to the town of Merimbula.The airport seems SO well cared for.Bravo to all concerned. It is a great reflection on the Sapphire Coast.

Unfortunately for overseas visitors using local SIM cards one gets completely cut off as there is no WiFi.

small and cozy airport. you can buy coffee and snacks from the cafe inside. car rental is few steps outside.
