Friendly staff, helpful. No stress booking my ticket. Even wrote the departure time, so I knew when to go. Seniors fare very reasonable.

Rudest customer service I have ever endured. Older man manning the station was blunt and demeaning to me and an elderly woman also seeking assistance in line at the station. I spoke to this same man over the phone days earlier and felt as though my call was an intrusion. My lost property held for days in his care (and V/Line's) had very obviously been treated in the most appalling manner with some items seemingly lost and a good rummage had through the bag... An intrusion.

absolutely fantastic service from melb to bairnsdale then on coach to bega with coach captain Robert from Dyson coaches v'Line his professional attitude and driving was a pleasure as a interstate professional driver myself this coach captain was exceptional thank you for a good ride and drive down to bega and return to Melbourne

Really glad there is a train to the Melbourne. Once upon a time, I locked my car key inside the trunk at Bairnsdale early morning after I filled up the tank and RACV could not get the car unlocked. Had to go back to Melbourne to get my spare key. Was going to take a taxi but realised it will take more than $700 one way. So glad that the Vline is just around $80 return.
