Nice peaceful location, walks from the sufe without having to use the car. Just a shame we ended up with people camping next to us playing loud music.

Grassed and shaded campsites with good facilities including wood fired 'donkey' hot water. Nice views from campground east towards Yarraman and west from lookouts. Located adjacent Western Side walking trail and Mt Kiangarow. Need to bring own water.

Good site, clean facilities and water heater available if you bring wood. Not much shelter other than your tent when it rains. Good long walks from the camp ground. Needs a bit more supervision of those who dont wish to follow rules.

Well worth camping here. We saw a dozen beautiful yellow breasted yellow robins just hopping around in search if insects early morning.Awesome walking across the road with magic vistas to Mt Kiangarow and soak in the great views along the walk to top lookout.Bring some wood to use drum fire heater supplied for a great hot shower.600 year grasstrees through camping areas .Possums come down these looking for food an hour after dark. Some are very tame. Take up some fruit such as cut up apple.Only 20 min drive from Dandabah camping area and Nat Park office.

Tent only campground. Donkey boiler for hot shower was a new experience. Queensland National park's website says firewood provided but there was none here when I got here so bring your own. BBQ style fireplaces as well. Lovely spot. Cold, breezy and foggy/damp at night compared to lower elevations so be prepared with some warm gear. Would be 5 star if QPWS had firewood as advertised on booking page. Camping is booked through their website. $6.85pp per night. There is OK telstra reception at site.

This place is awesome! Quite camp spot- plumed toilets - heat your own water shower. The bird life is fantastic - hawks, robins - parrots - and if you’re lucky a few owls and dingos howling. Top 5 spot for comfy camping

Very well kept and spacious campsite. We enjoyed cool nights with fireflies, and misty mornings during our early November, two night stay.Excellent amenities, just don't forget your firewood for a hot shower!

Great place to camp. Fire pits are large, allowing quite a large bonfire to be constructed if you so desire. Wood was provided, however this has recently ceased, there is still wood available if you know where to look, a machete and axe is a must. Good walks nearby, gets as low as -5°C so bring some warm clothes, 24/7 fire is good for heating.
