Westcott Camping Area
Beautiful campground up in the Bunya Mountains. Unfortunately it is tent camping only not campers, caravans or beside the vehicle camping allowed. There are toilets at this campground and some fire pits. When I visited no one was at this campsite but Dundabah campground was fairly packed (like a caravan type packed).

Very beautiful place to go camping (quite cold in winter though haha.)The toilets were well taken care of and clean and the hiking tracks and views were lovley. There did seem to be a lot of prickly pear thorughout some of the trails, hopefully the rangers will be able to get on top of that.

Westcott Camping Area
Good basic tent camping area with clean toilets. Walking tracks rated level 3 and 4 start at this point and both are easily completed without much difficulty. If you want a camp fire remember to bring wood with you as it is no longer supplied.There is no under cover area at this camp-site, so be sure to have weatherproof gear and have a tarp or pop up gazebo in case of rain.

Westcott Camping Area
This is the second best camping site in the Bunya Mountains, after Dandabah.It's a little more wild, quiet and secluded so it's more peaceful and wild.Having less people around, you don't get the same amount of wildlife hanging around, but you'll still see a few walibees and satin bauer birds lurking around your tent.The toilets are the composting type and are very clean and odour free.Westcott books out over long weekends and school holiday weekends so book early.

Nice spot to camp in the park. Very natural and lots of beauty. Nice access to hikes from the site and also drive back down road to trails. High elevation with cold nights. Fires were allowed. Bring own wood. We all got two to four tick bites each for two night stay. Beautiful rainforest. So green.

Westcott Camping Area
Compact, grassed campground and day use area just off Bunya Mountains Road with good facilities. Campground located along the Western Bunya hiking trail. Good spot to camp and explore trails, also bike riding distance to Burton Well and Dandabah community. Need to bring own water.

Nice secluded site from main camping area.Facilities were clean.Loved doing campfire. Gets really cold in winter nights.

Westcott Camping Area
Great place for a day trip or camping,lovely clean picnic and camping area's.Toilet's are clean and tidy.Lots to see and do from bird watching,sky gazing and easy to hard walking trails.Can get busy with campers and day visitors.
