I didn't even get to an initial visit due to the unaccommodating nature of this business! I have a young baby who still has 2 day time sleeps. When booking in a day for Dom Tech to come and inspect the stove top in the rental property we are currently residing in, they told me they could not give me a time, rather a two hour window in which someone would attend and this would not be given to me till the day before. I informed the very useless and unhelpful lady that I can not do early morning nor lunch time due to my daughter's sleep times. The SMS comes the day before the visit and I am told a technician will be there between 12pm and 2pm! I then asked if I could do either morning or after 2.30pm and was told no

I am a landlord of several properties and my agent used Dom Tech to service the dishwasher at one of my properties some time ago. Since then I have advised all my agents to only use Dom Tech for any appliance repair at my rentals. I find their quotations second to none and their advice between repair and replacement is in the best long term interests of the landlord. They don't simply give you a huge quote they also advise that given the age and condition of the appliance replacement is something that should be considered. They leave the decisions to me and armed with all the information I can make an informed decision. Quotes are generally quite detailed and on the odd occasion when I have contacted the I have found they are always happy to answer any questions directly.Regular and happy client here who recommends their service to my social group.

Quick to come out and sit and watch dishwasher for 5 minutes and charge full call out fee to tell me they’ll send me a quote, only to call me back 4 weeks after initial appointment to blame the supplier. Told them not to bother - had already bought a new machine and had it installed.

Amazing service, always prompt, efficient and professional. I have been using Dom Tech for over 10 years now and have never had an issue!

Just wants to milk you for money. Company is designed to rip you off from receptionist to repair workers. They are very shifty and unprofessional.Quoted 140 call out fee.Couple weeks later, went up to 253 since the drier and washer are stacked. Apparently requires two men. Ok, understandable maybe.On the day, one man rolls the drum the other stands with the iPad. But NO quote can be given because they need to take it apart at the shop apparently and THEN they can give me a QUOTE. If it is too expensive and I decide not to go through with it, I am the one who is out of pocket to bring it back. So Its decided that they will provide the quote end of day and leave the drier here.1 week later no response. I chase it up and am told they can't give me a quote till the part comes and that, that is when they are invoiced. Expected to be notified in couple days.A week after still no call back, no missed calls or anything. i chase it up, and they tell me they left a voice message & that the part they ordered is out of stock and there is no ETA to provide quote or when the piece comes in.Also, what kind of business in 2021 doesn't have an email address ? Not everyone has message bank set up. Where do you send quotes etc. Makes zero sense.I ask for the code for the item so I can look elsewhere or even get more information since we seem to be at a dead end, I am met with a very rude receptionist who is not transparent and tells me they havnt even ordered it because they need my okay to go ahead with the repair first. I demanded to know how much the part is atleast so I don't feel like I paid for nothing ? To that she finally told me the part is ~$750. Honestly. Could have told me that from the beginning. This place is shocking. Absolutely poor customer service and shifty work ethics to get your money. Hated every part of this experience. Wasted time and money. Very frustrating.

Please take a moment to read this. As a landlord, I had requested my Agent to investigate a faulty dishwasher. Domtech went to site and came to the conclusion the cost of repairs was far too great and a replacement dishwasher would be ideal. I was quoted by Domtech for multiple replacement dishwashers and a fee for the installation and if I was to proceed with the installation, the initial callout fee would be waived. The quotes provided for the dishwasher was extremely high where I was able to find the same model at less than 40% of the price. When requesting Domtech to perform the installation only, the installation quote jumped almost 250%. The lady over the phone was not helpful and couldn't agree to the email that was sent and saying I've misunderstood the email. What part of no additional charge for the service call/labour already performed" did I misunderstand.Thanks for nothing and taking peoples money through deceit and exploitation."

Poor service! Was charged $600 for an oven repair only to discover a few weeks later that I needed a new oven!!

The worst installers I have ever encountered. They take your money and treat you bad. WARNING DO NOT RECOMMEND.

BEWARE - UNETHICAL- DISHONEST. My property manager requested a quote to fix a 3-4 year old dishwasher. Dom Tech advised, in writing, that the parts are no longer available, and even if they were it would be over $500 with no guarantee it would work.Within 5 minutes of googling we contacted a Australian company who advised that the PARTS ARE AVAILABLE and will post it to us for $87 all up, and also said that it is a quick and easy fix for any technician. 15 minutes labour at most.Well Dom Tech you are a rip off, and I feel sorry for your past customers that have trusted your so called professional opinion, only, like me to be told complete lies in order to over charge me, and then try and persuade me to buy your own , unknown name brand dishwasher at over inflated prices.A quick search for your reviews highlights many people unhappy with your unethical service. An ideal candidate for Current affairs.
