Beautiful nursery but very steep hill to get to coffee shop.Cafe opened for lunch and breakfast with limited menu desserts as well .Two gifts shops also on sight

Poyntons Nursery has their own adjacent carpark across the road which was chock a block when we got there, although we did manage to find a spot.This nursery and restaurant is obviously and rightly, very popular and I assume gets even busier on weekends, not sure if the restaurant takes bookings.The garden and plant displays are beautifully setup with clear signage and explanatory placards.Staff are helpful and knowledgeable, giving detailed advice on plants, suitability etc.I was really impressed by how friendly the staff were and how willing to help. Kudos to the management on fostering such enthusiasm and skill!We decided to eat here and loved our meals in this unique location.The restaurant is located on top of a hill within the nursery. Great views down to the Maribyrnong river and the gardens of the nursery if you can manage to get a window seat.We visited on a Friday lunchtime and it was surprisingly, absolutely packed.We were lucky and managed to get a great seat near the windows after only a very short wait.A small menu, but plenty to choose from.My eggs Benedict with thick grilled ham was delicious and perfectly cooked, we also had a smoked chicken risotto and a sauteed forest mushroom dish. All delicious and attractively plated.The crispy fried potatoe wedges with sweet chilli and sour cream was a shared side and rounded out the meals nicely.The walk around the attractively arranged plant displays, all for sale, was a nice way to finish.

The place is definitely a great place to buy plants and ornaments for your garden; ranging from vegetables to bonsais. The cafe is located on the third level of the vicinity. Food was great, the burger was really juicy and the pickled vegetables compliments the pork belly well. We also ordered the potato scones however that it was too salty. With our order they forgot to bring us two large lattes and by the time we had finished our meals it was still nowhere to be seen. We reminded one of the waitresses and after awhile she brought out two small lattes. We asked to have our large ones as we paid for them already but another waitresses snapped and said well

Brilliantly arranged garden centre. Stock looked healthy & there was a good range of plants to suit all preferences. Great cafe & homewares' shops in whole centre.

Wow this place is amazing. It was so relaxing just to walk around. So many plant varieties, very well organised, the plants very nice quality really looked after. Omg the cafe love it and the car park, they have their own huge car park. I will definitely be coming back.

Poyntons Nursery is one of my most favourite place in Melbourne. Very beautiful nursery/cafe and the staffs are very friendly. I'm also really impressed with quality of David Austin roses selling here. They're very healthy plants and gave me lots of bloom all the time.Just added another rose today and can't wait to see it bloom in spring.

Went today as it's Father's Day in the UK, and I lost Dad last month. So, I went to get a tree. One of the lovely staff members helped me with recommendations and showed me all the options, and we came away with two. This nice gentleman was very helpful, knowledgeable, and gave us his time. We didn't feel rushed. On what is a difficult day, I'm happy I now jave something to look at that reminds me of my Dad every Father's Day.

Good selection of plants, they also have a beautiful view café, and fresh food. Love it!

Great nursery, massive variety of good quality plants, seedlings, pots, clothing items, soaps, candles...also a cafe, excellent coffee and meals. Slightly pricier than other nurseries but the quality of their stock makes up for it.The nursery is on different levels, some steep paths, so please be aware if visiting in a wheelchair.
