Follow the gravel road and you'll end up here at at Cape Kimberley. From the turn around/parking area take a short walk down the sandy path and you'll be welcomed to one of the most isolated beaches you'll find. We were here all by ourselves bar the fishing vessel in the distance, not a soul turned up nor heard from, it was a beautiful experience to have a pristine beach like this all to yourselves. One thing to note, the walk through the sandy track to the beach while short is riddled with mozzies so use repellent.

An exceptionally beautiful beach, nestled alongside the Daintree river. The only downside were the many people ignoring the signs about having your dogs off lead. Next time I visit I'l ensure I come prepared to deal with these feral animals.

One of the best beaches around.
