Tawonga Tourist Park
Love this place. We have been going to Tawonga caravan park for years. Firstly in a hired caravan with young children, back in the day 1975, then our own tent, for years. Then we upgraded to a caravan. Now we are in cabins as we are older. We love the Kiwa river for swimming, that beautiful fresh water over your body. The peacefulness and laughter of children playing sport on the oval, the wide open spaces and greenery. The upgrade is very welcome and needed. But I hope it doesn't spoil it.

This is by far the most quality place on the planet, it has a variety of everything with great people in a great location, 10/10 would recommend, the caretakers are very nice and good to talk to. It gets hot but there is no need to worry because there is a lovely river with rapids to go down up the top and bottom, as a nice big bridge to jump from and it is a great experience all round.

Beautiful campground. Newly refurbished cabins (still do not have much to help with temperatures and only use of communal bathrooms) Deposit for booking is 100% of the fees and they where not helpful when they took over with rebooking. Time will tell with the new owners.

Most amazing place ever. Really recommend going here. River is cold but super refreshing on a 40° day. Caretakers are the nicest people I’ve ever met. Ive come every year for the past 10 years, it gets better every year and everyone here is now family. Sites are great size. Amenities are beautiful. Never run out of hot water. 30 minute drive from beautiful bright. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The crusher is a rapidly rapid down the river with a 5 minute walk up stream. Bring your tubes and tyres to float down. Definitely come on Australia Day!

What an amazing place to stay and unwind with family and friends. The Tawonga Tourist Park is surrounded by magnificent, shady trees that shape the picturesque landscape of this beautiful establishment. The Kiewa River makes a wonderful place to dip yourself into on those hot, sunny days or to just relax next to and read your favourite book. Our family have been going here for years and is always a ‘must return to’ destination. We can’t wait to go back soon.

Thanks team for getting the beautiful park back open again, we were all so thankful to enjoy TCP once again! Everything was great, just had trouble with receiving replies re configurations, understandable though as it had only just reopened and they were probably inundated with enquiries.
