Love it here. David and his staff have been taking care of our dogs for 12+ years now. They know them all by name and their ongoing issues. Plus their prices are beyond amazing. I literally travel from Newcastle to Forster just so my girls can see them. No matter how many silly questions I ask or how embarrasing my dogs can be, its always responded to with kindness and knowlege. There are a lot of Vets in Forster, but no one compares to David and his team. Would 200% recommend!

My wife and I took our very ill old precious cat to Dave and his team when our regular vet was too busy to assist. They did a terrific job. They cared and gave him and us their best. Dave is a great vet and great communicator, which is important for pet owners. Our dear old cat is nearly out of the woods and still with us thanks to Dave. Dave is now our regular vet!

Dave is a great vet who does everything he can to ensure the best for your pets, whether it's cats or dogs, chickens even, and will always put your pets in their best interest. The ladies at the front desk are awesome and will make sure your furry or feathery pets get the best love and attention.

Rang the emergency number for assistance on a British bulldog that went into labour.Another clinic had advised thru ultrasound that there was no pups.Early hour call for advise, was asked if I was a client of the practice, I said no.I told the vet that I couldn't get intouch with my usual vet.His advise to me was to keep ringing my regular vetSo Cape hawk veterinary hospital should put on their website24 Emergency services for clients of the 3 clinics and will only give veterinary advice to everyone else

Would give 0 stars if i couldWarning get a second opinion if this vet has told you whatever the issue is, is nothingI took my budgie here a few weeks ago with a lump on his belly, the vet assessed it and told me it wasnt anything to be worried about and it could be a cyst but just to leave as is, a few weeks passed and i felt i needed a second opinion for some strange reasonSo we went to Wind and Sea vets only to find the Vet there said it needs operating on and needs to be removed asap and would have been better if we had gotten it sooner and informed us the first vet we visited was incorrect in saying not to worry about itSo we took him in for the surgery today and sadly because hes so small and birds dont cope well with surgerys we lost himAnd this all could have been prevented if this vet had of actually known what he was on about and didnt tell us after charging us for the visit also just to go home as its nothing to worry aboutSo now we have lost our budgie of 6 years who was like a child to us, due to this incompetent vetHis death could have been prevented because if we had of been told to worry about it sooner it could have been a much easier fix, but instead the cyst had spread through him internally and nothing more could be doneNever trusting this guy again, i had already heard bad things with him and birds and i just should have pushed harder to get into a better vet instead of settling for this oneBut the lady on reception was lovely
