Contacted Rob for a Building & Pest Inspection and was impressed by his quiet confident replies to my questions, no pressure sales talk like other companies (who often also hope to sell you follow-on services like pest treatment or trade services). Down-to-earth, no-nonsense inspection was what I wanted and what I got. Not Recommended. I hired Casey Building Inspections to inspect the first house I bought June 2016 and the report was all good. There were ceiling stains, but Rob said it's dry and there were no leaks. After buying the house and living in it for a month, one of the bedrooms started to leak. I asked a roof restoration specialist to assess the roof and we found out that all the ridge caps were loose, lots of broken tiles and the whole roof needs restoration. I spent a good $5500 for the roof restoration job. I emailed Rob to discuss this matter, but I did not hear anything from him. If you want to throw away $500 and get a false report on a house you are planning to buy then hire this guy.

Rob was fantastic. He was available to come and do the inspection on quite short notice and was very thorough in his inspection of my unit. I was so glad to have him there and to hear his professional opinion as I wasn't sure about a few things. I would definitely recommend him especially if you are new to the property market and aren't sure what to look for.
