On the road to Townsville in Queensland, we stopped at Ravenswood and were told to go see the post office of this small town. We stopped by to drop off postcards because yes at the time we were writing postcardsSur la route de Townsville dans le Queensland, nous nous sommes arrêté à Ravenswood et on nous avait dit d'aller voir la poste de ce petit bourg. Nous y sommes passé pour y déposer des cartes postales car oui à l’époque on écrivait des cartes postales

We visited Ravenswood on a Sunday, and the Post Office was closed for business, but what a lovely building. It appears to have been maintained very well. Surprisingly Post Office is also act as a Petrol Service Station?

The building saw the great changes of the town in its history . People with dreams of gold came here from all over the world ,made the small area hustle and bustle … but new all these things had gone with wind . Only these buildings remains ,standing there ,telling reminiscent stories …
