Bekkers Wine
Was the first winery on our list at McLaren Vale. Really nice experience to taste the variety of reds available, served with almonds and cheese. Though the Shiraz here wasn't our kinda style (we love the jammy version), we could appreciate how Bekkers were adopting an elegant balance style to their wines.

Some wineries have ambience and so so wines, and some are unpretentious and have great wines - with Bekker you get the best of both worlds! Amazing ambience and amazing wines, the care, complexity and skill is evident in every drop.Was a pleasure to meet you Emmanuel and look forward to tasting more of your great wines!

Had such an amazing experience here with my mother, Bekkers was a winery recommended for me to visit by a friend who was recently in McLaren Vale - so glad we went for a tasting as the wine is just divine and we loved the quaint, relaxed atmosphere. Emmanuelle was absolutely lovely and made it so personal and beautiful, i can't wait to come back here again!!!

One of the best wine tasting experiences I've had. Such a wonderful intimate tasting area with beautiful views out to the vineyards. The $10 tasting fee was more than justified by such delightful cheese and what are simply wonderful wines.I really enjoyed their Grenache and how many places in Australia are there where you can have the wine maker pour you a Petit Chablis which by definition is made in France. Such a unique experience that Emmanuelle & Toby Bekkers have crafted here.

We chose to visit Bekker's due to the focused selection (3 key variants only) and reputation - they are stocked in some of the finest restaurants in Paris. The husband and wife owners have a great story behind their work, and importantly the wine was the best tasted during our full day out in Mclaren Vale. Grenache / Syrah from the local vineyard and also a lovely Chablis I believe, made in France.

An exquisite experience. No standing here, take a seat, enjoy the view, try their selected range of wines. They have a Grenache, Syrah Grenache, Shiraz and their white, Petit Chablis. They are all top of the range. A high end McLaren Vale experience.

What an excellent cellar door. Whilst we were there the winemakers dropped in for a chat. Very down to earth people. The wines are well crafted and niche enough to join their mailing list. The Chablis was a nice change from drowning in Shiraz for the rest of the mclaren vale trip. Highly recommend.

A majestic winery and cellar door in McLaren Vale. Emma and Toby personally provide the tastings. The Grenache and Shiraz is some of the best in the country. A wonderful experience -thank you!
