I would NEVER recommend Baker Automotive if it was the only mechanic in the all of Cairns, he charged me for new parts and then used the old ones, he used bathroom silicone, instead of automotive silicone and he charged me for parts that were not necessary, he got my car going enough to get us out of town knowing that we couldn't get back to Cairns to complain in person as we had a caravan on and we're from Maryborough. He took full advantage of the situation that we were in, when we got home, I then had to payout thousands of dollars, after paying him thousands of dollars, to fix up his very poor workmanship.When I contacted him about it with the proof of his poor work, he denied it.This company stuff our holiday, but was very happy to take our money, so please go to any other mechanics and save yourself the heart arch and a lot of money.

Took my Falcon to Matt to have my front end suspension looked at and fixed excellent service like this company and business highly recommended

Had my Citroen Ds5 in for service and for repairs a few times and these guys are the one of the best Mechanics in Cairns, Honest, and they explain everything you need to know about the repair and what has to be done.

Such a good service, I definitely recommend it, quick and honest people, for sure I will come back!

Tuesday, I broke down on Aumuller St and ended up needing to find an available mechanic to have my car towed to at short notice. Rang a couple of places that were down staff and couldn’t do anything for me until end of Feb. Both recommended Baker Automotive so I gave old mate a call and he was up front saying he was also booked until early Feb but he sometimes has cancellations. Short story is Matt and his team found the time to locate the issue, explained the cost and waited until he’d received the ok from me to proceed and I had my car back on Friday morning. Efficient, friendly and fair priced.

Had my Holden ute serviced the through these guys several times and couldn’t find a better place to go.

After being knocked back by Toyota on a week timeframe, we went 2 doors down to Baker Automotive where we were greeted with enthusiasm re: a faulty speedometer.Could not fault them on their genuine help and getting the problem fixed within 2 days.Would recommend them to anyone.

First was going to be 1 month and a half maximum. Then every week saying is going to be for the next week. In total I waited 3 months to get my car back. From end of October until end of January. The whole summer without it.When they gave it back to me, the floor was wet like they left the windows opened during the rains. Wouldn't recommend it

Fantastic. Couldn't help anymore. Great service and price. The only place I send my cars for repairs.
