They have the best products I've seen in Brissy. The entire staff are just terrific. The work they did on my house was just beaut. My security screens were top quality. I was given a huge selection, alternatives, and advice for my security screens, and when fitted, the blokes had no quandary explaining in full how to operate things. I also loved the internal decoration which I was surprised they offer. I was shown great assortments for the interior design for my house. Both external blokes and the inside of my house have great detail to the eye, and crikey it didn't cost me a hand and leg either. My cactus of a home was brought to life again. Thank you for the house facelift you gave our home.

I am happy to recommend Island Curtains n Verticals. The friendly staff were very helpful and guided me to the right blind for a bathroom that could withstand heat, steam and water. On top of that, it looks really beautiful. They have reasonable prices, and each member of the staff were a delight to work with.

From measure/quote stage right through to the amazing office admin shuffling my install date with very little notice, thank you.As for the plantation shutters that were installed yesterday - outstanding! I could not fault the install if I tried, such a professional finish you cant even tell that behind them is 50 year old windows! who knew window coverings could spark so much joy?! We are to pay our next deposit on the next project, cant wait. Highly recommended.

We are very disappointed with our experience purchasing plantation shutters from Island Curtains n Verticals. We were given 3 delivery dates which were not met. Eventually after 4 months we found out the shutters were coming from China. We thought we were buying local. They have now been fitted and they are a disaster. The ones on our 3 panel sliding door don’t shut properly. We have to lift them up to make them close. They are noticeably bowed. The installer said this is the best he could do and we would just have to lift the door to close it. The ones on the 2 panel door are just plain ugly. No attempt has been made to make the doors line up with the adjacent cupboard and there are gaps everywhere. We can’t even open them unless they are in the closed position. Imagine if you have your shutters open having to close all 4 sections before you can open your door. I completely understand why they insist on full payment before delivery as there is no way they would get paid for the job they did. I can’t recommend this company on any level.

We had an awning fitted to one of our windows and are extremely happy with the quality of the product which has meet our expectations for the effect we wanted to achieve.Delivery/Installment was overdue slightly from the quoted date, however, we were offered a discount on the product which we gladly accepted and appreciative of the good will gesture. I have used Island n Vertical, having built on Bribie Island, to do all my curtains and sheers inside my home, which are just beautiful, people always comment on them. Also have had outdoor blinds and awnings put up which have really put a lovely finish to my home. Debbie and her staff have been more than helpful through this process, I highly recommend Island n Vertical, always helpful, always there to help.
