Rude female staff greeted us by demanding we don't use mobile phones in the forecourt. Even though this idea of mobile phones having some connection to accidents or incidents in the forecourt has been proven to be false, the most disappointing part of the experience was the manner in which the female staff member enforced this policy. I don't have a problem with following the rules but this woman needs to seriously work on her customer service skills. Her rudeness lost two customers including myself, consequently we took our business across the road to the other petrol station.

Summary: closes 8pm, large convenience store, self-serve coffee, no cooking, no indoor seating, toilets OK.Details: Competes with BP directly opposite.Open daylight hours but closes evenings, currently 8pm.Shell petrol; pump price is usually within a cent per litre of the BP opposite, but they accept the Coles supermarket petrol discount coupons.Quite a large convenience store, much bigger than BP's shop, with a full range of supermarket-style snacks, drinks, and ice creams.Self-serve automatic coffee machine dispenses drinkable takeaway expresso coffee, small 80 cents, medium $1.50.There is no cooking, no inside seating, some seating undercover outside. If you want to sit down in air-cond for a rest and eat freshly-cooked food, go to the BP.The toilet is basic but always clean and of acceptable standard, with soap and paper.Staff friendly, quick, and efficient.If you need a stop 2.5 hrs north of Sydney, a detour thru Bulahdelah will cost you zero Km and minimal time off the highway.

Premium unleaded 30 cents DEARER than another shell station down the road.Unbelievable greed.

Go across the street for meals petrol an much friendlier service worth the cross over the highway

Great staff. Relatively clean. Few pumps but not usually an issue. Typical country town service station.
