Avoca Beach House Restaurant & Bar
Lovely restaurant overlooking Avoca Beach. The view is spectacular, the food is great and the service was brilliant. The atmosphere inside is pleasant and the interior is well decorated and bright. Highly recommend choosing the Avoca Beach House for your next meal out.

Avoca Beach House Restaurant & Bar
4 stars is being generous but the food was good. The service however was 3 stars. We made an online booking only to arrive and be told we can sit at the bar or on the outdoor terrace. Treated as if we were a walk ins. Keep in mind its winter 17 degrees and they have no heating outside and in their booking website it says you can't book outdoor tables due to the changing weather conditions. Regardless, we sat outside with a beautiful view, although it was cold. Had I known I would have brought my coat. The manager did offer us a table indoors after we had ordered, but by this time we had settled in.I have given the 4 stars for the food, we had the smaller seafood platter and the seafood was fresh and delicious, nicely presented. The cocktails were beautifully presented and tasted great. For dessert we had a delicious cheese platter with the most delicious cinnamon figs.Another service problem was that we were out of sight, out of mind, at the end of their terrace, we tried calling the waiter 3 times as he left other tables to no avail. Nobody came to ask if we needed anything else. We wanted to order a wine. The couple at the next table offered to send the waiter out as they were leaving.The location is superb, the food was excellent, but the service was lacking.

Avoca Beach House Restaurant & Bar
What a fabulous Locals night tonight in midwinter. Our meals were delicious …. We both enjoyed fish tacos followed by amazing barramundi with tasty ratatouille & my husband enjoyed the pork with crackling, cabbage, mushroom & cider sauce. Lovely accompanying wines and attentive service.

We recently held our wedding reception at Avoca Beach House. Cathryn and Richard went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable and make us feel special. The food and service were both impeccable. All of our guests commented that our reception was the best reception they had ever attended. Thank you Cathryn, Richard and your wonderful team for all you did to make our day a smashing success!

Avoca Beach House Restaurant & Bar
This place has good reviews and an overall rating of 4.6 stars.When we arrived the place was bustling and thought we must have made a good choice.Hopefully it was just one of those days but the tuna we had was severely overcooked (cut like chicken, ate like ham. Can you see where the juices bubbled in the pic) and the gnocchi portion was tiny. Service was ok but when we mentioned the tuna our feedback was just dismissed. Oh and the cocktails were average but the oysters were fresh (tiny but we got 7 instead of 6) and the dressing was lovely.

Avoca Beach House Restaurant & Bar
My daughter and I were on holiday for a week in Avoca Beach. This restaurant was so good we went back for following night so had the Tuesday and Wednesday menus. Service, views and food were all excellent. Watching the surfing in the distance added to the great chilled out vibe of the restaurant.
