Daintree Holiday Homes - La Vista
La Vista was amazing. The views from the Studio are stunning. There is so much to enjoy - the peace and tranquility, the sounds of the rain forest, the open space, the pool, the hammocks, waking up to that view as soon as you open your eyes.......and the shack had everything to keep the kids entertained - they loved the billiard table and the darts. The outdoor kitchen was perfect - big fridge, BBQ, Pizza oven, everything you could possibly need. We really didn't need to go anywhere else to enjoy all beauty of the Daintree and it was hard to drag ourselves away. Dean was really helpful and easy to communicate with. Totally recommend - will be back one day! Thanks!

Daintree Holiday Homes - La Vista
My partner and I had an incredible stay at La Vista. The place is absolutely stunning - incredible view of the rainforest, and it feels like you’re nestled above the treetops. We woke up every morning to the sound of the birds, and it was truly tranquil. We loved how we could spread out and relax. Dean was helpful and responsive (we had a couple issues that wasn’t his fault, and he helped us resolve them quickly). Loved the hammocks and peaceful energy. We’d love to come back!!

Daintree Holiday Homes - La Vista
We loved staying at La Vista! We spent a lot of time in the plunge pool and enjoyed the stunning view. The outdoor kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed playing pool. Our two teenage girls stayed in one of the houses, The Shack, and the two adults in the main house. The place was clean and Dean was quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! We had a wonderful time at La Vista and saw quite a bit of wildlife. Highly recommend staying here for anyone wanting to relax and wake up to a magical view.

Daintree Holiday Homes - La Vista
Deans place (La Vista) in Daintree was absolutely gorgeous. Waking up every morning to the sunrise over the valley and ocean was more incredible than can possibly be described. Dean was excellent with communication and was there for us with any questions we had. Thanks again Dean!

Daintree Holiday Homes - La Vista
This was our second time at La Vista and yet again it was just stunning! That view never gets old and I found myself just staring out over the rainforest towards the bay in awe.The main house has magnificent views, an awesome bathtub with a window you can open so you can see the view, a fold out lounge for the little ones, and a kitchenette with everything you need for making your morning coffee.The second building has a great covered outdoor kitchen with a BBQ and everything you could possibly need. Each time we have come we bring things only to find Dean has thought of everything! The ice dispensing fridge/freezer is a very nice addition on a hot day and there is loads of room for food. Food is something you will definitely need to bring, especially in the slow season as there are very few places to eat and they are not always open when you would expect. Always ring ahead!Also in the second building is a great spot for older kids (or kids at heart) to hang out. There is a pool table, board games, a TV with every imaginable Foxtel channel (not that the TV is high priority with that view), and a dart board. There is another bed and fold out couch. The best bit about this building is the outdoor shower.The buildings are so beautiful and interesting that I enjoyed just looking at the craftsmanship.Oh, I almost forgot, the pool! Possibly the best view from a pool I have seen.Everything is just amazing here and we got to experience an amazing storm one night. Laying there listening to the rain was just beautiful.Thank you for having us again Dean, we will be back!

Daintree Holiday Homes - La Vista
Our family of 5 had the most wonderful time at La Vista. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable with spectacular views of the Daintree. Going to sleep at night with the gentle breeze, listening to nature's night song and being surrounded by stars was simply magical. The kids loved the Shack, playing pool together while we cooked our BBQ dinners in the outdoor kitchen. A great base for exploring the Daintree and visiting local ice cream places! The only problem with La Vista is having to leave. Thanks Dean for being so attentive. We can't wait to come back.

Daintree Holiday Homes - La Vista
We had the best time at La Vista. The property is so unique, views forever and loved the pool! I'm glad we got to meet the owner to hear about how he built each dwelling. The fans were really high quality so all slept well. Kids were happy to have wifi as well. We will definitely be back but not soon enough.
