Amazing and prompt service. Usually available for a walk-in appointment which makes them really convenient. Woody’s chop shop barber always provides the freshest cuts cuts, and sophia always does a lovely job on my braids. Highly recommend. :)

10/10 first time experience! The day I came to Chermside I was told it was a great day for cutting hair, according to astrology, so I was determined to leave the shops with a new do. I was pushing my luck when I went to Oscar Oscar asking for walk in's but it was probably for the best considering their 'premium' pricing. The staff at African Braidz gave me a warm welcome and were fortunately able to help me out. The legendary barber they had clocked in did a nice clean job for my undercut and made my day when he made it free of charge. I asked the stylist for layers and omg layers I got! The gentleman, I didn't quite catch their name, who was cutting my hair was super nice and so understanding. For my first time back at the salon since before COVID, I'd say I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Not to mention how affordable it was given prices of everything currently. I definitely recommend!

I walked in a needed my extension fixed and was seen to straight away without an appointment. Tina did an amazing job fixing it for me! Amazing hairdresser and service.

Tina, Brad and the whole team at AB’z Hair & Extensions go above and beyond to accomodate clients and walk-ins, and are exceptionally skilled with hair extensions, hair styling, braids, and colour, for all types of hair.Living with super curly hair in such a humid climate has been made all the more manageable thanks to AB’z. I’ve been a client for the past 10 years and will always recommend.

I have been seeing Tina for my hair extensions few years now! I love the high quality hair extensions and the products (Shampoo, Conditioner and heat protection spray)!Tina offers weive extensions that I never would have known about without going here. I have really think hair, so tape would never work for me!I recommend checking this place out if you're considering hair extensions!!!
