Venus Nails

Went in for a pedicure and was basically tortured and have the bruises to prove it.Was attended to by a male technician who was polite but unfortunately was so incredibly rough. Not only did he cut me with the clippers but gave the hardest most uncomfortable massage on my right leg. Yes, one leg because he luckily forgot to massage my left. It was so painful and now I have bruises all down my right leg. The session was so rushed but I just wanted to get out of there asap. Safe to say I will not go back there!!!

The place is incredibly dirty! The dust on light fittings and the grime built up on equipment is disgusting. I didn't notice until I sat down to get my nails done. The lady barely told me what washed was doing (luckily I have had plenty in the past) but no real communication. I still have a lot of dead skin on my feet. She left me to dry and went to do someone else's nails but didn't say how long I should sit for. I gave up waiting tested if they were dry myself and took the toe separators off and left. I can see why the reviews are so low here.

Look. I’m looking at the other ppl’s reviews and I think it’s a lil too harsh on them. It’s still ok to go if you wanna go and get your meni pedi done cuz when you walk in they’ll tell you to sit and wait even if it’s a full salon.Pros- quick on serviceCons- some staffs can be rude if you are picky during their service, they talk loud and a lot between the staffs with their language, sometimes it’s messy on the table (nail powder and stuffs)But you can still get the basic job done but don’t expect high end service.

Nails have been ruined when I consistently ask them not to file down the old product but to soak it off. My nails are now paper thin without product and I have had to cut them back to as short as possible otherwise they now just split with the slightest pressure. Will not be using their manicure services again. Pedicures are ok depending on who you get. Some just don’t care and rush the job.

Yes, they get your nails done as per your request but I think they should improve their hygiene and cleanliness of the place. I see nail filings on chairs and the floor, the nail clipper is not sterilised and the massage chair and nail tables are quite dirty.I don’t think I will come here again.

So disappointed with this business, I have been coming here for the past couple of months to get my nails done and today they showed that they truly don't care about the work they're doing or the end result. I asked for natural colour with gold sparkly tips. At the end I noticed the end of my nails were uneven and thick on the ends to the point where they have big blobs of nail polish on the ends. It's really embarrassing to be honest, I told them that I have had my nails done here exactly the same before and they never looked like this. The lady spoke to the guy in a different language, then they both ignored me. She then charged me $50. Really unprofessional and a horrible experience all together. Now I have to go find somewhere else to correct their terrible work and waste more money. If you do go in ovoid the asian woman with long dark hair and cheap stick on fake eye lashes and the rounder asian guy with blonde dyed hair. Both are unprofessional and obviously have no skills as actual nail technicians.

Should have read the reviews first, my nails are wonky and she cut almost all of my cuticles whilst filing the acrylic. Never had this much pain upon leaving a salon, I’m going to have to put medical cream on my fingers now to ensure they don’t get infected. Not to mention that cuticles should never be cut only pushed back, incredible lack of knowledge here. Won’t be back and I highly recommend avoiding.

Did full face waxing on the 30th of September, day before a big event and was left with my face burning and stinging, some skin ripped off from the corner of my mouth and chin from over waxing the areas instead of tweezing the small hairs, which caused severe redness around my mouth and few hairs were still remaining. The following day the spots around my mouth and chin that were severely red got worse and started to blister and scab where the skin was ripped off, I couldn’t even cover it with makeup and ended up going to the event with a hideous scar on the side of my mouth. Paid $40 just to scar my face! Photo is literally from the day after I had my full face waxing from Venus Nails, I wish I had checked the reviews, but it was the only place I could find closest to my hair salon while on my way to my hotel. Biggest mistake was not checking the reviews of this place first.

Just finished my first session today and the result wasn’t good, believe the reviews. Attendant was very impatient and overall experience wasn’t friendly. The paint on some of my fingers did not reach my cuticle and had a large gap. My middle finger nail was skewed to the left after they shaped it and the tip was placed so that the nail came out straight like a beak which looks quite weird. Not worth 55 dollars.

Really poor service. I just went to remove the shellac, buff and shape my nails, but the job couldn’t be worse done. They didn’t have anybody else waiting but she was rushing to finish with me, the shape is irregular and left pieces of nails holding. Never coming back
