We hired John to renovate our 80s pool which was rusting, cracking and generally in need of assistance. John was forever the professional, checking in to make sure we were happy and the contractors were on track. He gave realistic deadlines and met them, sticking the budget we agreed to. He was hands on, guiding us through the process and giving advise along the way.John is an honest tradesman with integrity rarely found. We will gladly have him back anytime and recommend him to everyone.

John has been absolutely amazing, he is very genuine and gives good advice. We had an issue with a previous major pool service company who ended up ruining a valve and i rang John and left a message the next morning he rang me back and had my issue sorted. I would recommend John for any pool service/issue and do not hesitate to contact John, he knows what he is talking about. If I ever have another pool i will not hesitate to have John look after my pool

These guys have clearly been in the business for decades and really know their stuff. John is an old school tradie who wont accept anything other than perfection and is very to the point" about the job at hand.I've been in the pool industry for the last 7 years and in that time I have met my fair share of dodgey tradesmen who deliver a shoddy product. These guys are a breathe of fresh air

WARNING - DO NOT USE. We asked for a quote from John to renovate our pool, was charged $220 and promised he would provide a written quote for us. This was not provided, and when we were forced to ask repeatedly for it they got very upset and hinted darkly to us that they would report us for having a non-compliant pool fence (the pool is since drained and the temporary fence is compliant). In addition, John verbally quoted more than three times the cost of a new swimming pool and deck ($6,000 for a skimmer box to start with and said could cost $160,000 all up, other company quote said $45,000 deck included!!). I believe this company is just out to scam you for a quote you will never actually receive or go with, as he will tell you such a high cost. It's just a scam website to get $220 for nothing, I don't believe he renovates many pools with these business practices, he just does inflated bogus quotes for cash. Also we had to ask repeatedly for a receipt for the quote he never gave us. If this guy is doing three or four bogus quotes every week, he's making a good living from it.

WSSPS recently completed our pool renovation and it's come up great. John always turned up on time, was easy to work with and very knowledgable. Thanks John and Dinah.

Like the prior poor individual, he came to evaluate my pool at a cost of $220 with a promise of a written quote and that money taken from the cost if hired. This quote was never provided and after trying to follow up repeatedly over many months, I was ghosted the whole time by him and his wife Dinah. They are total frauds! Dinah told me John would call me back, they never did. ON the phone she didn't seem surprised or apologetic for their business practices. BTW John hires another to fix pools, he mentioned this person and limited by their availability, so yes he is the middle man. I wish there was another way to hold them accountable for what I consider thievery.

A big shout out to John who came over to look my pool chlorinator that was “having a moment”. Of course it was working when John arrived but he told me honestly that the brand I had was a very good one, and despite it’s age, if it did play up again it would be best to look at fixing it rather than to buy a new one. It was very refreshing not to be told “oh just buy this new one at five times the price”. I was also very grateful that John was able to squeeze me in first thing, and was around my place within a hour of me having spoken to him on the phone. If you are looking to deal with someone who knows their stuff, is honest and straight to the point, you can’t go past John at WSSPS. Highly recommended.

12 months ago Minden Retreat was facing the prospect of getting rid of its cracked and leaking pool, a hole in the ground that was eating up $$$$$. We were put onto John & Dinah from WSSPS who visited the venue looked over our problem and then provided several solutions, it was be no means a small job. Throughout the whole process John & Dinah kept us well informed always cheerful and quick to over come any issues. The finished product is a pool we can again offer for use to our guests, 12 months on and we haven't had anymore issues, thanks to John and his team, very highly recommended. Repair job was completed August 2019
